  The staff at the Seaview was very friendly and the motel was very clean. It was close enough to walk to the shops and they offer a free continental breakfast every morning. They also offer free long distance calling. Trolley stop was also available outside the motel for travel to downtown shops and restaurants for a small fee.   The location was excellent and so very beautiful. Loved the Marginal Way walk watching the sun come up and all the beautiful rocks and waves. We had our breakfast outdoor by the pool which was so lovely we didn't want to leave - On arrival we were greeted warmly and taken on a tour of the property. Our room was nice, clean, tastefully decorated and spacious.We had room 5 at the front of the hotel facing the road which made it a little noisy with traffic but it had it's own entrance and little veranda to sit on. Very convenient for getting all our luggage in and out with ease.   Very nice hotel. Our room was a king suite with a small private deck off the bedroom, spacious living area. Very clean and it didn't smell like a hotel usually does which was a bonus.   I loved how immaculate and well maintained our one-bedroom suite was. It was very lovely and inviting. We were across the street from a leisurely path to Marginal Way and to the beach, across the street from the trolley which would take us to more shops and restaurants downtown, and within walking distance of many places to eat and shop. This is our second stay there and we hope to return to The Mariner again next year.

The pool was closed but we were there during the early spring. the footbridge beach is just a short walk and the parking was free because it was off season.
