  Offering a budget price, they also allowed our dog. Housekeeping staff was amazing at honoring our 'Do Not Disturb' so the dog wouldn't get out if we were gone for a while during the day to places he wasn't allowed. Muff - The room was clean and having both a microwave and refrigerator added a level of convenience for me. There were several nice restaurants within easy walking distance as well as a Walgreens. Bus service was only a block away and a taxi was there within 15 minutes of a call. To say this was the Ritz...no...but if you want a reasonable rate within a reasonable distance of many tourist sites....this is the place to say..The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times.

  Best deal around! This hotel to me was Great! It had beautiful views of the river in the back by the really nice clean pool area. This hotel has just been renovated. My room had new wood floors and the I want buy their pillows. This is not a luxury hotel, but it has a fresh coat of paint inside and out and was superclean! I - The lady behind the counter who helped us was awesome. I want to saw her name was Lydia but I can't remember for sure. When we got up the next morning for breakfast, she was running around like mad trying to make sure everything was perfect and cleaned up. A one woman show who definitely does not get paid what she is worth. If someone in the Hotel industry is looking for a top notch woman to work at your facility and will pay her what she's worth, you not do better than her.

  We stayed in the cottages and it was wonderful. There was a small kitchenette that was fully furnished and a coffee pot which is very important to me. The patio outside our room had a beautiful view of the lake and we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the turtle and small gator. Be sure to visit the Edison/Ford estates while you are there. - We loved the peaceful, relaxing mornings & evenings we spent on the porch looking over the pond watching the turtles, the baby gator and listening to the ceramic dolphins shooting water. We stayed in the individual cottages, even though it is an older place, it's very nostalgic and the inside was updated and comfortable. There was a small nature trail that was neat and they offered free canoeing. Close to downtown.

  We loved the staff and their extreme helpfulness and consideration of our needs. They did everything they could to make us comfortable and welcome. We were traveling with a large family group and used several rooms. Their deck out back and bar area were highlights, as was the location in old downtown Fort Meyers. - The hotel was pristine!
