The property is on old highway 31 which helps with the charm that it is not located by all the other hotel,motel and is very quiet. The room I stayed in was roomy, clean and plenty of pillow for the bed. If you want a change in staying off the beaten path, stay at the Thunderbird Inn.

  We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony.
