We did not book directly through Best Western so when we arrived, we discovered our room did not have a balcony but a patio instead. Told the management of our displeasure and they moved us to the 3rd floor the next day. We appreciated the accomodation. Once moved, we were very happy to have a private balcony. Room was very clean and the housekeepers were very friendly and thorough. We would definitely stay here again. Was so clean and comfortable, that it felt like home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for shopping, eating, and catching the ferry to Mackinack Island.
所有评语 » Everything from beginning to end. Room, bed, service, breakfast was excellent including staff who served several families and kept dining area clean. I really have nothing negative to say, Thank all of you!. The room was amazing! We had a large jacuzzi tub in the room and a beautiful view with a walkout patio that led right to the beach. Clean sheets,no bed bugs ,friendly desk help;big screen tv,bathrooms clean,great that there was iron,blowdryer,minifridge,etc. I liked the spa and pool. I also liked the fact that it had a beach and was close to many restaurants as well as shops. They were friendly, rooms were very large and it was right on the water. Breakfast was very good. Good value. Friendly and courteous staff. Even offered to upgrade us to a lake view room:) Very nice breakfast room!. Loved the bed! So comfortable. They staff was friendly and helpful. Room had a great view of the beach. we loved the location, the Jacuzzi tub and the memory foam mattress on the bed. very comfortable. The beach was beautiful. Coffee at breakfast was excellent. Breakfast was also very nice. Clean, comfortable room. Walkout to beach. Easy walking distance to whole town. Very good room for a very good price,very clean - total experience was awesome. Everything. location. It was just average, not worth $159-nothing really bad, nothing really great-nice to be able to park at the door. Location was excellent - near ferry docks and town of Mackinaw City. The location to board the ferry to the island. The location of the hotel was very convenient. the room spa tub was nice. The lakefront/beach. Would prefer glasses over plastic cups. Nothing!. Everything was perfect, no complaints. They need more heartsmart choices at breakfast,ie skim milk,fat free yogurts,whole grain breads,fresh fruits ,not canned .also ,our carpet was definitely moist and kind of squishey from moisture.we did mention it to desk at departure;elliptical and free weights in gym would be an improvement. The fruit at breakfast should have been fresh not out of a can. The beach was very rocky so it hurt to go barefoot. Coffee in the lobby was not nearly as good as in the breakfast room. Breakfast was not good. Eggs were rubbery, sausage had a strange taste, coffee too and everything that was supposed to be hot was room temp to luke warm. No complaints whatsoever. Since most people were there for the Mackinac bridge walk I think it would have been nice if breakfast could have been served earlier instead of the usual time. Was not impressed with the inflated price just because it was Labor Day. TV experience (TV Remote poor, TV channels defined not all available), breakfast choice on first day was limited, despite buffet length. breakfast sausage was cold. more elevators needed. Came back one day and our doors to our room was open, looked like they were cleaning and left and for got to come back and finish. 320 B. was the room. Didn't like the way the lights turned off in both rooms. The teenager had to sit with no lights when we put the little ones to bed. Breakfast overcrowded and noisy, front desk wasnt very helpful. Bed was way too soft. Whirlpool Tub is too high, needs a step. No coat rack. Room wasn't so clean - pizza box and misc napkins still in room when we checked in. A little bit expensive for just court side rooms. No fresh fruit at breakfast. No variety fron day to day at breakfast. Sausage was terrible. No snacks in vending machine and poor excuse from staff when questioned about it. the room had a bad smell. Someone tried to get into our room the first night. We had to call the front desk. It was scary. Nice big bathroom, but did not like refrigerator in the bathroom. Would have rather have it in the living area. Nothing. It was fine. The sheets were pilled, not enough towels and the jacuzzi was on a timer so you would have to get out and retime it. Room needs improvements - lights all connect to wall switch. Can't turn on one light without turning on all. Cleaning staff left dirty rags in room. Free breakfast was terrible. Went across street to restaurant and paid. The entire experience verified why I hate to stay at Best Western motels. There isn't ant quality control from motel to motel. This one was out of the 70's. It needs updated badly. A very unpleasant and depressing room and 2 night stay. Had fruit flies in our room. We had a room with a spa and the timer on the wall for the jets was hard to get to and couldn't read it!. the room was small as we could barely set up a rollaway bed for our 11 yr. old grandson, the king size bed was very uncomfortable. Noise in room above us. Every night had to call front desk c/o so much jumping running banging til 4 am. Didn't get much sleep!. I was given a key to a occupied room.
