  I've stayed at Vdara before and I really enjoyed this trip too. First off, we checked in earlier than normal check-in and we got upgraded to a Corner King Suite which was huge, spacious! There was a full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, separate bathroom, washer and dryer facilities and a large master bathroom. The views were incredible. Housekeeping was ver - The hotel had beautiful design both inside and out. The rooms were finished to a high standard. The hotel is ideally located for exploring rest of the strip but a haven for escaping the noise also. The staff were helpful and we were upgraded on our second night to a executive room as we were on our honeymoon.   I was extremely wary after reading the negative reviews for this hotel but the price was right and as a college student the price was really what it came down to. I was pleasantly surprised when our suite was clean and spacious. I would recommend taking air freshener because the scent of cleaning agents was strong. Looked good but we did not use it or stay in the hotel much. It is far from the strip but not a problem if you have a car. Nice view of surrounding hills, proximity to a Lake Mead area, and Las Vegas worked for us.
