  The hotel, while an older building, had been recently renovated and what a pleasant surprise with all the character & artistic flair in the room (and even the hallway!) The "wow" factor was definitely there when we opened the door to the King suite. The room was a lovely size, the bathroom huge, with great tilework and an awesome shower. The sofa bed actually had 2 separate beds, so we could have had m - I stayed here very recently for six nights while attending a conference downtown. Let me say it was totally worth the extra effort and cost in cabs to get downtown ( half hour by bus, 15 minutes 13 bucks by cab). The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional, from the cleaning staff, valet parking attendants, front desk folks and management. I get the feeling people love their jobs and want to deliver good service to the guests. The bar downstairs is awesome and deserves its own review. On

  I was very welcomed here in lieu of the fact that 90pct of the clientele here was half my age. Great atmosphere and location here. If you are truly friendly, open minded and enjoy meeting new people this is a great spot.   Great central location, close to San Diego's bus and trolley lines, shopping in vintage shops, lots of restaurants in gay-friendly Hillcrest area. Nice continental breakfast included and staff ensured that foods were replenished and dining area cleaned constantly. Hotel caters to tourist couples, singles, and families. It lacked a corkscrew, I asked for it and is was brought to the room within 5 minutes. And the best: the location! Vibrant Hillcrest accross the street, a new Vons 5 min walking and close to all major roads.

  This was my 18th hotel in 30 days and was the best. The gaslight district is a short walk and there is heaps to do in the area. The staff went out of there way to advise on things to do. There was always a cab there if it was needed. Complimentary shuttle is also available at all times. - I liked the fact that it was a city-feeling hotel, old school with modern touches. The hotel was on the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. I liked the personal touch of a "sail boat" greeting card, which everyone signed, placed in the hotel room.

  I asked for a quiet room when booking. They upgraded me to a beautiful room with a seperate kitchenette. The room was beautifully furnished with antique pieces. The bed was very comfortable. Sheets were a good quality with a down comforter and lovely down pillows. Kitchenette has a Kurig coffee pot with ample amounts of tea, coffee, various sugers... 别人怎么说 » and creamer. Fresh baked muffins, fresh fruits, juice, tea, coffee, and cereal is includ - Hotel Vyvant provided us with a fantastic experience in San Diego. The location in little Italy is perfect for exploring the city and you're close to tons of restaurants by night. The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. The daily breakfast is perfect, and the weekend happy hours with local beers and wines was a wonderful touch. The staff was always helpful and accomodating. You should absolutely stay here if you get the chance! We'll be coming back soo

  Lovely hotel-big room really quiet (don't hear other guests) & hardly hear traffic. Super comfortable beds. Great choice for downtown as away from the noise of Bars etc & traffic and close enough to walk. We stayed 9 nites here in total -left another hotel & came back here.   Best value!!!! I loved having the restaurant on the same floor as our room. We visited happy hour and drank their signature cocktails for only $5 each!
