  It's a delightful, charming little inn, centrally located and a good bargain. The location was very near Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.   I booked this hotel for a quick two day trip to see San Francisco with our kids based on the good price compared to nearby hotels, not really expecting much in the way of facilities. My wife even encouraged me to reconsider after out of fear it would not be clean or safe. I'm happy to say we were very surprised and happy with this property. We stayed for 2 days & walked or bussed the whole time. Very central location to everything. We walked from the hotel to Pier 39/Fisherman's Warf, Chinatown, North Beach, Union Square, then would take the bus back. We did this with a 5 year old & a 2 year old. The rooms were clean & tidy with plenty of space. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is very good too, just a very short walk off the lively Union street, convenient for buses... Overall, definitely recommended, we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area.
