  So nice to see lemonade and cookies at check-in desk, even though we were too full to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bacon beautifully cooked at breakfast buffet; pancakes good. Indoor pool was beautiful, although so many kids there I changed my mind about going in. A disappointment. - The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.

  We love Lake George and especially the Fort Wiliam Henry Resort...stayed with our kids 25+years ago several times and then again this summer with my brother and his wife...they loved it.   Only stayed for one night.however person at front desk could not have been more pleasant, friendly (9:00pm) and accommodating Breakfast in am was great and the service was as above. The room was a very nice size for just 2 people, we stayed in a single king size room. The general manager, who we dealt with while we were there, was very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle that would bring you to the village and back was a nice perk and allowed you to stay away from the noise but still experience it as you wanted.
