  Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Attendant was waiting for us to arrive and check took under one minute and we were on our way to our rooms. Hotel - The Motel 6 Lake George is right in the center of town and you can easily walk to anywhere in the village. We never had to worry about parking. The facilities were clean, simple, and had everything we needed. It is also pet friendly so it was perfect for our small dog. It's was not the cheapest hotel in town, but definitely wasn't the most expensive and was definitely worth the little bit more that you pay.   So nice to see lemonade and cookies at check-in desk, even though we were too full to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bacon beautifully cooked at breakfast buffet; pancakes good. Indoor pool was beautiful, although so many kids there I changed my mind about going in. A disappointment. - The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.

  We stayed 2 nights for my daughters 21st bday. Even though the weather didn't cooperate we still had a good time. Location is great because everything is walking distance..great Itailian restaurant Gusieppe's. Hotel Restaurant was good to but was just opening this weekend.   We love Lake George and especially the Fort Wiliam Henry Resort...stayed with our kids 25+years ago several times and then again this summer with my brother and his wife...they loved it. We enjoyed the pool and the spa. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. The breakfast was very good.   Only stayed for one night.however person at front desk could not have been more pleasant, friendly (9:00pm) and accommodating Breakfast in am was great and the service was as above. First time stay but won't be the last. Next time I will bring my son and daughter (12 and 14) to enjoy the emenities. Room very spacious and simple. The room was a very nice size for just 2 people, we stayed in a single king size room. The general manager, who we dealt with while we were there, was very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle that would bring you to the village and back was a nice perk and allowed you to stay away from the noise but still experience it as you wanted.

  I really enjoyed everything about the resort. It was very clean which is what I look for most. It had a beautiful view of the lake, a private beach, patio, playground, boat rentals and pool.
