Everything! Before booking this Hotel I read the reviews. Let me counter most of them. If you're riding a motorcycle, stay here. They are extremely accommodating! The breakfast is exactly what you need. Just enough to get your day started. The beds are great, a/c blasted cold and staff is excellent. This is not a 5 star hotel, so if your expecting that, you'll be disappointed. However, the grounds are relaxing. Little porches to sit on, the pool is clean and set up like it's your home instead o.
所有评语 » The room was crystal clean and adorable! I never stayed in a guest house before. It was a dream come true! Its going to make staying in a hotel ever again harder. Lovely lady named Jennifer at front desk. Everything about the whole place was so relaxing and so peaceful! I'm going to stay 2 nights next month! Free breakfast was great...highlights were the freshly squeezed orange juice and the fabulous coffee! I look forward to my next visit. I'm going to bbq, swim, and nap in the hammock this ti. Set on duvall street, but at the quieter end, once behind the facade you are transported to an oasis of tropical plants surrounding the pool where it's quiet and tranquil and so far removed from the hustle and bustle of upper Duvall. Breakfast around the pool, friendly local cats - some lucky with 6 toes and a short stroll from a number of great restaurants turn left and great nightlife turn right! Location is perfect, room was good size and comfy too with all facilities we needed... Location was perfect for Duval activities. This makes you experience true Key West. It is a quaint cottage place with lush garden areas around pool and breakfast area. We stayed in #17 which was upstairs. We felt like we were looking out over trees and could see a beautiful landscape.Super clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. This was a girl's trip and we are ready to go again with our husbands. Location is perfect for walking everywhere!. - very friendly staff, provides a lot of tips what to do and where to go to get the best of the place - right on Duval street, walking distance to everything, easy to get back after - parking is a bit tight but hotel staff helps you to park your car and does it well - we got free upgrade and room was really good, big and nicely decorated - wifi is working :). This charming guesthouse consists of 4 or 5 traditional buildings located within the same block - each of which contains 1-2 modern appartments. It is only a couple of minutes away from most attractions. Breakfasts are served in the garden near the pool, and it has a nice atmosphere. Altogether, I had a pleasant stay - after a stressful arrival. A very cozy, quaint facility. It has very much that laid back Key West atmosphere. It's a 20 minute walk from Mallory Square, which isn't bad when your walking up Duval Street checking everything out. It's located closer to the Southern Most Point of the island and the quiet end of Duval Street. Can't wait to come back and visit!. Location was perfect, a little pricey. Didn't care for our actual room spot as people tried to come in our door. Porch was nice for drinks and people watching. Grounds were very pleasant and really enjoyed the house cat. Breakfast was a nice treat. Front desk people were extremely nice and gracious. Total surprise, very quaint exterior & totally clean, new interior-we were upgraded to Heather's Villa and it was a total pleasure, would be great for a honeymoon spot, porch swing, hot tub, living room , bedroom, bath, kitchen/dining-everything you need is there. Right from the minute Randy greeted us, we felt at home. Randy was friendly and informative and helped us get settled in a wonderful room. The property was clean and well kept. Our room (suite) was incredible and we really enjoyed our stay. We will return!. The location on Duval St was just right. Close enough to the action but far enough out to be very quiet. The pool was just fine, as was the breakfast. A nice touch was to have coffee and hot water available all day for guests. It had parking too. The location is at the 'quiet end' of Duval Street. Shops and restaurants are right at your doorstep. The rooms are quaint and clean. Each room has its own outdoor seating area and the guesthouse courtyard offers a nice gathering place with pool. I enjoyed the quaintness of this B&B. It was very clean, and we had a large room with 2 queensized beds, a small kitchen as well It was quiet and removed from the noise of Duval St, yet within walking distance of all the sites and activities. The Hotel is in the Centre of key West and many nice places (bars, restaurants and mostsouthern point) are just a five-minute walk away. The breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly. Especially the Heathers Villa is worth to book!!!. Much of the accommodation was around the central courtyard, with pool, gardens and tables for enjoying breakfast. Location was great for all the action on Duval Street. Staff was helpful when we had problems with our car battery. It was a very cozy place to stay for a weekend getaway which we did. But a can't wait to get back there and spend more time there. And the staff was more than courteous in direction and advice of what and where of the island. This hotel has a very quaint old Florida feel to it, and it's in the quieter end of Duval St. It was very clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. The location was awesome, on Duval street, but far enough from the noise where you can get a good night's sleep. It is such a quaint and relaxing place. It is in the heart of everything, yet seems so private. Everything you want to do is within a few blocks and since they rent bicycles on-site, you can go all over town!. The room (11a second floor) was nice and clean. Ideal location for doing the Duval crawl, easy access to all things in old town, nice pool, great breakfast and you can be in the middle of the excitement out front or in a cozy villa in the back. The Wicker Guest House location on Duval Street is fantastic to provide walking access to lots of Key West attractions while still being away from the noise of the bar scene. Love our room on the second floor. #1. Will always request this room love the rocking chair porch and enjoying the beautiful flowers and scenery surrounding the porch!. Great location right on Duval Street. We rented bikes at the hotel and got everywhere we wanted to go. The pool was wonderful and the pool area was quiet and relaxing. We stayed at the Buena Vista, wich is small house with separate entrance and a private rooftop hot tub. The place is very comfortable and the decoration is very nice. Was very nice that the breakfast was served by the pool.. They had a good parking system so it was easy to park (its not so easy to find parking spots in key west). The wooden building is so charming; the bed was very comfortable; the location in the quieter part of Duval St. is perfect - central but quiet during the night :). Loved everything but did wish there was a place to hang up some clothes. Even a small rack in the corner would be great. Stayed at "Heather House" - SO LOVELY! A cottage outside back gate. High ceilings, one bedroom, outdoor pvt. jacuzzi, kitchen, etc. etc. Nothing....can't find a thing to complain about!. We liked it all!. While it did not bother our group, the beds were not super firm nor the pillows. Some people who are used to their fancy mattresses may not like these beds.Our room was 2 queen beds and 1 small bathroom which again did not bother us, but don't expect large rooms like a hotel. Upon my arrival around 8pm, the lobby of the guesthouse was already closed. It took me some time and a telephone call to figure out how to get the keys of my appartment. Maybe, the booking confirmation mail should contain what number to be called in case of late arrivals. A little pricy for my liking, and the water didn't stay warm for three people to shower one after the other. Tried to extend the stay, but they were booked. We liked everything. The rooms had no storage space. The parking, while free, is a bit cumbersome. A bit costly..$300/night and this was off season. Pool temperature was a bit chilly!. nothing. One of the best stays I ever had. The air con was a bit old and loud in our room, and woke us up a few times during the night. Price was a little high for our budget. Older mother had some difficulty with the stairs. Our room was not cleaned as thoroughly as expected. Breakfast at the hotel was awful, but there is a great bakery across the street... so no worries!. The mattress to our bed was saggy and thin. It was not a very good sleeping bed. It could of been a prime hotel if renovated but it is a good deal for the money. Pretty far to walk to $7(drive in) public (z) beach, which was amazing. Having to leave. Location of the back of Heather's villa. It is very closed in and not inviting although there is a small table and chairs out there, as well as a Hot Tub. That area could be spruced up!!. Still under renovations but workers worked around guest-certainly not a distraction!. Breakfast should be a open hot continental meal. Most important meal of the day. nothing!. Buffet breakfast could've been improved a notch (but didn't really bother us). Very old room furnishings, old/moldy pillows on outdoor furniture, wall AC unit was very noisy. Parking can be tricky if you arrive late, there are not enough spaces for all guests. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was not good. Our room was right above the pool and you could hear everyone coming and going late at night. The shower room was not so good because one of the showers (there were two) didn´t work and the water wasn´t hot enought in the other one. The breakfast was served between 8-9.30, it would be nice to have it open to at least 10 or 10.30, cause the nightlife in key west is really nice and you want to stay out late:). No aaa discount because I booked with your service beds were lumpy a lot of smokers were staying there which made the air quality less than perfect the housekeeping staff did not understand questions too well and it would have been nice to see the manager ? At breakfast whoever that is?? Asking how everything is ?. Car park facilities are awkward with need to leave car keys with management. The office was closed when we needed to use our vehicle. Everything was great. Parking but that's a problem ANYWHERE in Key West and not anything due to Wicker Guest House. Curtains / blinds in our room (#16) did NOT keep light out enough. Also, the "window unit room air conditioners were NOT powerful enough to cool the room down to our liking on a VERY HOT FLORIDA DAY (June 16, 2013). no one to answer the E.no. after 9'00 P.M. Locks on the door were very flimsy.
