We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a 2 wk tour of Florida and thoroughly loved it. We would happily have stayed longer. It's a small B&B but we loved everything about it, from the friendly welcoming, helpful staff, to the traditional, quaint rooms which have a real home from home feel. Everything was spotlessly clean, breakfast was simple but offered lots of choice and was not rushed. The location is perfect in that it's on the main 'drag' close to all the bars and restaurants, but at .
所有评语 » Close location to restaurants and bars along Duval street and to Hemingway house and southernmost point, yet quiet and well appointed. We had a room by the pool that was clean and with a good sized renovated bathroom. Simple but filling breakfast with fresh cut fruit. Reception is closed after 6p, but are available for emergencies after hours. Staff went above and beyond - when our toilet plugged up late one night, one of the staff graciously came by to fix the problem quickly. It was quiet and friendly; the porch on the front was great for people watching and drinking a few beers or glasses of wine before going out. Although there were a number of older couples staying there, it felt like home in the sense that everyone was friendly and said hi. The receptionist was super-friendly and even kept the free breakfast out longer than she was supposed to in order to ensure everyone ate. I loved the quant rooms and the very friendly staff. The location of Duval Gardens was perfect. We were close to the action of Duval street but yet far enough away for it to be quite and romantic. The breakfast buffet in the morning on the front porch was not only delicious but a wonderful way to start your morning. The staff was more than accommodating. I would highly recommend Duval Gardens!. We stayed in the King room. I liked the size of the room and the hard wood floors. The bathroom was spacious and quite nice. The breakfast was tasty, with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and various breads. Huge comfy, covered front porch. The staff was excellent! bEvery one was very friendly and they went the extra mile with cleanliness and hospitality. Very friendly staff and homely accommocation. A good, wholesome, choice provided for the continental breakfast. Following check out we got drenched in the pouring rain, the staff very kindly lent us towels and somewhere warm to change our drenched clothing, we appreciated this a great deal and again wish to convey our thanks. Clean, comfortable rooms...decorated nicely. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Allowed us to leave our car in their parking lot longer than usual. Excellent continental breakfast in am. Within walking and biking distance to everthing in historic Key West. The ambience - the decor was in keeping with the style of the property and the the buffet breakfast was just perfect with cereal, a selection of bagels and bread and of course the delicious cake. We never went back out once we parked. limitations were : Very small pool and limited parking during high season.we really liked Duval Gardens, but were glad that it is located on quieter end of Duval Street- other end gets pretty loud and roudy!. - the room was a bit dark - some problems with the wifi (slowed down or stopped working) - More expensive compared with similar hotels at other locations (not in Key west). somewhere in the room on the second floor wi-fi doesn't work. A small pool but warm and cosy!!. Our particular room was a bit on the small side although the bathroom was large. I enjoyed it all!. N/A. Hmmmm ... Nothing really!. A little pricey. Parking is VERY limited. Noisy AC above the bed WiFi wasn't reliable even after new routers. Parking very limited but did not have to move the car the three days we were there - we walked everywhere. The only draw back was the lack of parking close by. But we manage to find a spot not too far. No complaints. For its size and location it is great. Parking. Parking. We should not have rented a car. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. Very centrally located but on the quieter end of Duvall. Accomodations were quite small, but there was lots of storage space. Parking is limited, but we left the car there during our stay. no umbrellas for the chaise lounges. Refrigerator was not working very well, or at all. Nothing. Wanted to stay longer!.
