Arriving late, we found our key and directions sticked to the office door. Very friendly and helpful staff the next morning. The cottage was very cosy and clean, and although the appliances and shower would benefit from an update, it didn't feel old or outdated overall. Airco a bit noisy but keeping the cottage cool in July. Initially having booked one night, we wanted to stay another, but the next night was fully booked - we didn't get the chance to try the BBQ or pool.
所有评语 » The cottages were very cute, clean, and cozy. Everything you needed was there, it was fall the heat was awesome, the man at the desk was friendly and helpful, it was dark when we arriced and he had gone down and turned our outside lights on for us, and recommended toppings a pizza place that delivered they were fast cheap and yummy! We loved the cottages and will go back! Always a plus not too far from congdons donut shop!. The cottage was cute and detached form other buildings so I didn't worry about the noise my 7 year old made. There was a nice pool, small playground, and open yard area for games which kept him busy as well. It was a decently sized cottage for the money we paid as well, plus with the kitchenette equipped with a few dishes (even a large pot for boiling lobsters!) we didn't have to eat out every night. Stayed in cottage withkitchen facilities. Even though this facility was located on a main highway; one felt like you were in the country because of the woods and park like setting. Location was very close to all shopping and beaches. The cabins are clean & comfortable, having stove, refrigerator, dishes & cooking utensils. Outdoor grill & picnic table are included. Those wishing to eat out, there are many restaurants available for every taste. The owners were friendly, the cottages so cute (and quiet), near to places to eat and to getting to Kennebunkport. We were sorry we could only stay one night. The cost was really reasonable as well. Very budget friendly. Very quiet. Appreciated the beach pass. Great pool. The cottages looked fine; we will definitely try one next time we are in the area, which is usually 3 or 4 times a year. As a mom with two young children the cottage and grounds felt comfortable, safe and welcoming. The cottage was great for us and made for a relaxing stay with a family oriented staff. Was quite and clean had a nice back yard for our little jack Russell to play w his toys staff was very friendly we really enjoyed our stay w you. Great value for money and a short drive to all the attractions around it, including Portland. Friendly owner. Highly recommended. Property runs back away from the highway, is quiet and shady, with lots of trees and shrubs. Rooms are pleasant, great value. Cottage was cozy and perfect for our needs. The location is central for beaches. The pool is good.Beds are comfortable. nice pool cute cottages easy to find nicely eqiupped with cooking items. Afforable - nice pool and outdoors area. Good value for money, nice pool. Good price, friendly place. Quiet area. I wouldn't trust on the old fridge to keep your perishable foods safe. No breakfast options or nearby groceries on site - although there is a good diner down the road, it would have been lovely to start the day with breakfast on our veranda. It would be a big plus if for example a local baker would deliver fresh breads in the morning, or some basic groceries were sold at the office. Check in wasn't until after 3 so we had to kill time when we got there. Also I tried calling from Vermont before we left and I couldn't get through on the number listed on the website. The beds weren't luxury but they were good enough for a little family weekend. Couple in next room had a major fight (not hotel's fault!). Tv didn't work, but since we didn't really need it we never asked for assistance. Just a little grubby, with mold in corners of the shower (no vent fan.). -Internet connection was very poor, -Telephone usage needed explaination as it didn't work for us The inability to use internet was a set back for my work. nothing. It was cold. Heat was not connected. Blinding light at entrance sign when trying to find entrance off of Route 1 at night. Carpenter ants. Pieces of popcorn from a previous guest remaining in the microwave. Bed and couch were very uncomfortable. Fridge was acceptable but forget about keeping anything frozen. Came to the conclusion we prefer a little more luxury . Very dated with sloping floor. Some TLC required but you only get what you pay for. The shower didn't work. When I mentioned it at checkout, I was told "Oh, he's working on it. I guess he turned off the water." It would have been nice to have been notified of this prior to checkout. We were on a road trip through New England and weren't thrilled with having to skip a day of bathing. Lots of moisture signs ans smells. Not best value. Children at the front desk. no hot water ` broke in the evening. small ants~ needs to be sprayed said to have screened porch our did not.. it rained.. we stayed inside. Not clean. Musty and a bit run down. Not very clean. Phone didn't work. Poor AC. Bugs. Beds uncomfortable. They had ashtrays on porch which we used to smoke. Not once did we smoke in the room yet they charged a $50.00 charge stating they could smell cig smoke. I feel scammed because they saw us smoking on the porch which was ok to do since they put ashtrays there. In no way, shape or form did we smoke in the room. I feel ripped off....
