  Once there it looked like we booked at the no tell hotel. However, the room was very clean, we ate breakfast sitting out on the chairs on bay side and it was wonderful and relaxing. Was in EXCELLENT loca - We had a lovely self contained apartment at the Flamingo. It contained everything to prepare meals and good cold storage facilities for food. Nice little outside area suitable for 2 people attached to the room. Staff were helpful. We asked if a trip to the everglades could be arranged and they did this for us. Despite reading a comment indicating it was a long way from the beach this was not the case. No more than 100 yards away from the warm waters of the Gulf. Plenty of room on a vast beach.
