The staff on site were wonderful. We had our daughter join us to see if this would be a location for her to consider for her wedding on the beach next year - she loved it and was impressed by their presentation. The beach is the widest, the rooms clean and the property clean and comfortable. Such a relaxing, friendly resort right on the beach...just steps from the Gulf. Lucky enough to see three dolphins swimming in the early morning just off the shore! Comfortable, clean rooms, good for families, great location! Our second time here...we'll keep coming back!!.
所有评语 » The gentleman at the check-in counter (I do not remember his name) was excellent in answering my questions and providing an alternate route to the airport. Appreciate having someone who is mature and knowledgeable to assist me when travelling in a new area. We enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Beach Resort . The location is very convenient, rooms are spacious, the Tiki bar at the beach is nice Staff was very friendly and professional. Would come back to this property in future trips to Fort Myers. The location, convenience, and friendly staff made our stay one of the best vacations we have had in a while.The food in the cafe was very good, and the restaurant across the street was just as nice and had excellent food. We will be back. Extremely accomodating staff. Loved the band/oldies. Liked that there was the combination of bar & live music (was a selling pt. for me when reviewing online). Loved that there was a restaurant there; very good food, great staff. we liked that it was low key and family friendly. The prices in the restaurant were fair and there was no price gauging on anything.The staff made up for any shortcomings on the facilities which are old but fairly well kept up. location at the north end of Fort Meyers Beach. The huge beach. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was also good. We thought the problem of having to check out was managed very well with the sand trap room. The beach with it's sugar white "stone less" fine sand is unique and an absolutely fantastic experience. The Tiki-bar at sunset was great. Very helpfull staff. The breakfast was good value for money. Loved the location. The staff was helpful and very welcoming. Gave us great ideas on where to go. But we really liked how everything was right there no need to do anything but relax!. View from room was fantastic very clear for the age of complex parking lot was nice Tiki bar was friendly and reasonably priced. Location on Island was good. Wonderfull sandy beach. We were comfortable, but the week was unusually mild and rainy. The quality of the breakfast buffet was disappointing. N/A...did not rent an umbrella chair due to cost, however nice that they were there as an option. Did not visit the gift store (?). The pool was was small and no jacuzzi. too short of a stay:). Nothing was bad. (Who needs a large pool with a fantastic beach like this!). Nothing! But we would have loved to stay longer. Coffee machine was hard to use, made a mess first time I used it, got better at it each day. Also did not have enough sugar or cream for 2 people. Air conditionng worked well but fan blowing on us at night. People who smoke, drink,eat and leave remains ON beach! Could use a microwave in rooms. We would love to stay beach side!! Very limited parking; although we always found a space when needed! More free beach chairs available. Mattress on one bed in room not good!. music at the Tiki Bar didn't last long enough into the evenings. Room was somewhat small. Poor TV reception. Too much smoking outside of each room & in pool area. Ugly Rooms; Refrigerator in the Bathroom; The Breakfast Buffet. Nothing!. It was all good - no problems. Hotel is old and therefore facilities are dated. no problems. The only thing I can think of is we had some issue with bug bites, not sure if bedbugs or what. They moved us to different room which was a relieve. Staff are not overly friendly. Bed was too hard. Pillows were too hard. The Hotel was very far from the shore. The Beach & Umbrella where a bit old and worn out. The Pool was way to small for this Resort. Food at the bar - the pool is small. A little outdated. Air conditioner didn't seem to adjust well and was always loud. Stairways and and walkways could be cleaned more frequently,, seemed rather dirty. Bedding old - could use newer softer sheets facilities are old but very clean. There were a few ants in the room. In the cheapest rooms it is like a Motel. Didn't get to stay longer!. that we couldn't sstay longer. As bit out of the way buy trolley convenient. motelish. Beds could be updated. Our room was very bright in the night due to lighting outside. Our air conditioner did not work on the first night. room kind of small, too many lights at night. The pool is to small to so many guests. They can not say they have a fitness room, when there only are two machines (only one is working) in the laundry room. We loved everything about it. we had trouble every time trying to open the door and had to go back to reception every time to get in. The resort, if that's what they want to call it, was for the most part old and showing signs of age.
