The Asian lady at the reception desk in the mornings was very pleasant. The room heating was efficient. The bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast included fresh waffles, in addition to nice breads for toasting. Had a comfortable stay. Rooms have all you could ask. Coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Nice tv with cable and wifi access. Stopped there on my way to Vancouver, BC. Good Motel, Walking distance into downtown B'ham with lost of Food and drink.

The staff (extremely helpful!), the beds, the breakfast, the price. Excellent, friendly staff. Good location and great price. price was right staff was friendly. clean and comfortable.and quiet. Just all round good experience. TV and HBO, WiFi, hair dryer,. location and price. Clean, pleasant. The front desk staff were very nice, and accommodated our room change. The rooms were a reasonable size, were decently clean, and the cable TV was nice to have. Close to I-5 and Fairhaven. Price was great & room was nice and big. The staff was really friendly and really helpful. Easy access. Clean. Close to shopping. The location was central, it was just over 100.00 which felt pretty cheap. The price was reasonable. Staff was very nice. Nothing. The only good thing was that I didn't have to spend the night in my car sleeping on the street. nothing. The halls around the non-smoking rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The carpets were not the cleanest. Not a very good view from the first floor. Noise between rooms and floors: could hear footsteps and bath/shower water running in other rooms. It was all good for the price. Would have like more choices for continental breakfast. A bit noisy but not much to be done age of building and all but for the price it was really not that much of an inconvenience. Hot tub was broken but they were doing there best to solve the problem. Entrance wasn't the easiest. A bit cramped. Need a bit more desk space. very noisy at night. Uncomfortable pillows. The rooms were quite outdated and the bedspread, curtains, and fabric on the chairs were all stained and/or had cigarette burns on them. Hair on my friends pillow(not hers) and the Breakfast Room was disgusting. The selection was limited to cereal, waffles or toast(no fruit or yogurt) and all the guests use the same bulk butter and jam containers and the whole room was very dirty. Just that the hallways do get loud sometimes. Very minimal continental breakfast. Could add fruit, yogurt, muffins etc. Carpets and chairs dirty and need replacing. There was food particles on the floor and a Jack in the box wrapper. I didn't take my shoes off. The rooms were cold, the morning staff was not friendly or hospitable. The evening staff were cheery and courteous. Run down and small. Nobody at the counter to check out. Loud people when trying to sleep. Need to update the toilet seat. The room had a terrible toxic smell that was so unbearable I could hardly sleep and got a terrible headache. The electricity went off twice in the breakfast room because of overloaded circuits. The computer did not have a printer to print out my boarding pass. And I couldn't use the spa because by the time I tried to find different lodging and had to come back, it had closed. everything. The furnishings were old and the bathroom smelled like dirty towels. The towels smelled like dirty towels. Ew Ick, I am really sorry I ever stayed there.
