  Staff really knew the area well. They were ready with restaurant suggestions and willing to make reservations on the spot. Ready to just be friendly and they were truly welcoming! Also - our son lives locally and they welcomed him for breakfast one morning - no charge.   The staff were superb. The location on the Bar Harbor coast was unbeatable. The buildings and grounds are exceptionally well maintained. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary and spent six nights at Bar Harbor Inn, and my wife has since told me that my selection of hotels was perfect. While in Bar Harbor, we made it a point to try as many ... 别人怎么说 » restaurants as possible. The meal at the Reading Room was our best experience. The lobster pie was incredible! - Great location, very clean, nice room, easy to park next to the room, great continental breakfast, great view of the ocean. It was a short walk to town. For picking it sight unseen (except for pictures on the Internet) we were very pleased with choosing the Bar Harbor Inn and delighted with the overall experience.

  Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

  The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. Shopping was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good, with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I learned great tips. - I loved this hotel it made my stay that much better It had a very warm feeling I loved the fireplace in the lobby The pools and the hot tub area Where it was on the harbor just perfect A lot nicer than I thought it would be very well maintained Although people were working on the hotel for example the maids were never in your way and very quiet Very unusual which I liked

  A completely awesome experience. The room was enormous, with a huge bathroom. There is also a theater room (great for watching football games), multiple lounges, and an incredible reading nook on the third floor. The nightly rate might appear expensive, but this is actually a good value. - Superb accommodations and a lovely edifice!
