We loved our stay at Acadia. The staff was very friendly. A shuttle arrived every 30 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes in the evening to take us to Bar Harbor for free. From there we could take additional shuttles to Acadia Park and other destinations. The breakfast was a very good variety. There was a mid day snack of cucumber water and cheese and crackers. A couple times a week there were movies and smores around a fire. The pool was very nice. There was a small trail b.
所有评语 » Friendly welcome at reception, and pleasant surprise at our pretty, spacious room. The afternoon snacks put out for quests is a lovely idea and the breakfasts were very comprehensive and would suit everyone. We were also delighted to catch sight of the deer on the back lawn area one evening - a real treat. It was an easy location to get to, plenty of parking, and an short trip into the town area. We were so pleased we had decided to visit this area and the National Park was just lovely - also. The hotel seemed well managed and had been kept up to date. It looks like some refurbishment had been done recently. it looked good among other hotels. Excellent continental breakfast with large variety. Cookies, fruit, hot soup, Cheese and biscuits and hot cider were all left out for guests to help themselves at various times of the day. its locatin close to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and the high speed Cat to Nova Scotia is outstanding. Nice pool with hot tub, playground and great stuff for kids, s'mores, movies on the lawn, great location to Acadia natl park, packages with dinner and cruise that are a great dollar value, meal at the inn was excellent. They have a cute things for kids they put a book and stuffed animal to match the story on the bed while u r out, moose, seal or lobster, I bought for my grand kids really cute. Great staff. Shuttle into bar harbor. Pluses were the location, shuttle access, breakfast buffet, friendly staff, pool, mid-day snack, coffee available in lobby outside of breakfast, cleanliness, trail in back of property. If we stayed longer my daughter wanted to try the movies as well as an evening of smores around the campfire. Acadia Inn was a pleasant and affordable stay. I would stay again when we come back. The hotel was in a great location for Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The rooms were lovely, clean and quite spacious. The staff were all friendly and provided added treats - my fave being s'mores by the firepit! Breakfast was a treat as well with a lot of choices. All these extra touches made it a really special stay. We were between Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, so it was easy to drive to either location. The staff at the Comfort Inn was very helpful - we had to do laundry and neither the change machine nor the detergent dispenser was working, but the front desk happily reimbursed us and got us what we needed immediately. The location was excellent. The breakfast was good--loved the hard-boiled eggs. We also loved the toaster arrangement. You were great to accommodate the 90-year-old by giving us a first floor room by the door. Also it was very quiet and the pool was fabulous--clean, perfect temperature. We'll come back!. Young woman at the check-in desk gave us info about the cruise around the harbor. She sold us our tickets which made the experience quick and easy. So enjoyed having the shuttle on a regular schedule so we could leave our car in the hotel parking lot. Staff was exceptionally friendly no matter what time of day- always very helpful and well prepared with information about the park during the government shut down. Breakfast was wide variety and the afternoon treats a pleasant surprise!. The Acadia Inn was an excellent place for my family and I to stay during our trip to Bar Harbor. It was very close to downtown bar Harbor and the other places we wanted to visit. The room was large, beds comfy and very clean. Staff very warm friendly and helpful as a celiac them having gluten free cereal and eggs was so good for me great breakfast bar the cheese crackers in afternoon cookies at night was not expected but very nice very clean rooms. Great location with path to Acadia directly behind property. Walkable to town. Staff was really nice and helpful, especially the maids. There was a snack of cheese,crackers and soup each afternoon--great after a hike. I loved a lot!!! The rooms were beautiful; loved the little gift shop; excellent shuttle system...close to marina & staff knowledgeable about nearby activities & attractions; great breakfast! Kind staff... Very clean and well maintained property. Good location,close to shopping and activities like the park. Coffee and tea available all day long as well as simple breakfast and snacks. Good place for the money spent. The facilities were quite comfortable. The location is quiet, being only 1.5 miles from the Acadia Nat'l Park entrance. The staff is most friendly and we look forward to our next (third) stay at the Acadia Inn. We were very impressed with the wonderful breakfast and choice of foods. Location-we spend most of our time there in Acadia Nat'l Park, biking, hiking. Nicely furnished rooms, friendly and competent staff at the reception, coffee and snack service, walking distance from the harbor. It was conveniently located to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor.The rooms were clean and tastefully done,the staff was excellent. Friendly, clean & comfortable & afternoon snack with 24/7 tea/coffee & cold drinks. Within a mile of Bar Harbor. everything was great ,the room,the breakfast,mostly the staff was stupendious.A very perfect place to stay in all respects. My husband was disappointed there was not a temperature adjustment for the hot tub. Water was only mildly warm. The safe in our room was locked.We figured the hotel may not have known. The pillows were a problem for some in our party--too firm and too stuffed. Could there be a variety in each room? Also a request for shower caps to be provided. Our toilets were a bit of a problem: they flushed but were balky. Pool was not very warm but hot tub was very hot ? wished for more heat in pool and less in hot tub no ocean view was disapointing. Beds could stand a refresh, they were a bit soft. Nada. All was good; no complaints. We were pleased with everything about the Inn. Nothing. Price. Nada. No bar. Too much plastic waste at breakfast. Nothing. A bit of a walk to the town. This didn't put us off as we like that however others may not. Having said that it's America and you can easily drive. Breakfast was not full of choises. Breakfast was included but served on plastic plates and very limited. The breakfast selection was a bit too simple without any really warm options. The pillows were too firm, and the breakfast was so so. Girl at front desk was not friendly at all. Better coffee option in the morning would have been nice. Weak coffee at breakfast initial musty smell in bathroom took several personal cleaning to get rid of - bleach took care of it. I didn't like the fact that there was no restaurant at the hotel. The parking was quite difficult and it was frustrating. Musty air conditioner. A/C unit a bit loud not right in town. need another toaster for breakfast buffet. Don't count on the Wi-Fi when the hotel is full. There can be little changes on breakfast menu to include hot items like home fries and scrambled eggs etc. no coffe in the room, but was available in the Lobby. It was costly.
