  We found this delightful place very near to the village center. The owner and her daughter were extremely polite, caring and helpful, on our arrival they had provided us with loads of guides and plenty of info for our hiking trip across and around the lakes. Loved the 'honesty box/drawer', where you were asked to leave 50 pence for any mineral water bot - We had room 3 with the 4 poster bed, it was soooooo comfortable! Diane the b&b owner was very hospitable, she tailored our stay to meet our needs, my friend left her electric cigarette charger at home so Diane let us use her personal computer to charge it. Also, when we got there Diane had left leaflets and a map on our bed, this helped so much during our stay. The breakfast was nice and the location is perfect, a 5 minute walk in to the village of windemere and a 20 minute walk to bowness

We appreciated that they gave us (and our luggage) a ride to the train station.   Friendly owner (Ian) rang us before our arrival on the day and met us as we arrived even though it was late. Ian checked what we would like for breakfast the following day (and did this each day of our stay) and gave us a map of the local area- pointing out things of interest. Well located as only 5 mins walk into th - I stayed there for 2 nights with my frd. Ian and Lynn were very friendly and helpful. The room and the en suite bathroom are super comfortable and clean. The breakfast is also good. The hotel locates in a tranquil block just besides a brook and is about 10 minutes walk from Windermere railway station & bus stop. To me it was not too far and there are many good gift shops on the way from the station to the hotel. The guest house was one of the factor that makes my stay in the Lake District

  We chose this B&B based on the high rate provided by letsbookhotel.com's users. I believe that everything happens for a reason and choosing this B&B couldn't have made me happier. The guest house is well kept, clean and the breakfast is good quality. They also, when we stayed, offered little 'extras' in the mornings I.E. as it was over Easter home made hot-cross buns and little chocolate gifts were avaliable on the breakfast table.
