My friend and I stayed there for 3 nights and were treated like family. Advice about places to go was plentiful and maps and brochures appeared out of nowhere.....we would definitely recommend staying here...it's a home from home. The full breakfast is huge and enough to feed 3 hungry people - I put 2 pounds on in 3 days!!! The young family who run this hotel are to be commended. The owners, Eddie and Susan were so friendly and helpful. Also, the cooked breakfast was plentiful, healthy and very tasty.I would reccomend this hotel to all my friends.
所有评语 » Very friendly, family atmosphere, always greeted with a smile and of course the breakfast is second to none!. Pleasurable stay, staff were very friendly. The country club facilities were very good as well. Lovely spa. Relaxed staff atitiudes; top quality stafff/ client relationships -very friendly. Eddie and susan where very wecoming and friendly throughout our stay.Excellent Friendly Staff and Quality of Food And Comfort. very good proprietor's very friendly would recomend.Nice and clean rooms, staff was fantastic. Rooms , bathrooms , breakfasts. The location was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. Lovely modern bathroom. Airy room.friendley staff. Good Location. Good breakfast. Friendly owners.Proprietors were very pleasant and friendly - the man showed his several tricks with coins/corks etc, over breakfast which got guests talking and laughing. Also glad of complimentary leisure facilities nearby. cosy and clean BandB, central to Bowness and Windermere, very comfortable.Very help full and plesant people will be booking again in november. Sign postion not up to expected standard. - weather problems. lack of parking - did not affect us though. Was not easy to find it because the sign board outside has been broken.Basic bathroom with small shower and poor lighting. On second floor so many stairs. rather strict about using toilets after check out. would have been good to allow us to use the toilet once when we collected our bags in the afternoon.There was a misunderstanding relating to the breakfast times although mywife and I made the mistake we arrived 15 minutes late. We were informedthat the kitchen was closed and the result being a bacon sandwich ortoast was offered. I felt that this was a poor alternative and buildinga good customer relationship and we were only staying the one night abreakfast could have been arranged. I wouldn't have minded being able to check out a bit later!. Once frosted glass has been put back into the bathroom of the room we occupied it will be better, but this is not the fault of the proprietors but insurance claim which hasn't yet been rectified. Mr and Mrs Cook apologised for this. The staff could have been more friendly, also the walls were very thin and you could hear people next door and above. The description could have stated that that the car park only accomodates 5 cars. I wasn't happy about parking down the road from the hotel. There were notices everywhere saying don't do this and don't do that which was very off putting.breakfast time period, too early. the address of the hotel should be more precise, at least include the street number. It's better to find the hotel for customers.room in need of redecoration. heating could have been on as evenings were still chilly in May. Price was a little steep. finding the hotel and tight parking. There were too many warnings, indeed. You can never feel yourself completely comforable with them.rather strict contactable business hours and hard to get a hold of the staff. no elevator for big luggage. too many notices. Far too many guest notices - everywhere - we felt like intruders in thishouse. Only found out on departure (we were there for 2 days) that wecould have had access to a pc to clear our emails. Greeting was off-hand, the room was small and stuffy, we had to walk sideways around the bed. There were no facilities for guests such as a guest lounge. Rules posted everywhere with threats of extra charges if you don't comply with them, the messages could be conveyed in a more friendly manner.
