Impressed with how clean warm and homely it felt when my son and I stepped inside. The room was good value for money and would recommend the Malvern lodge. Met by the owner on arrival. Showed me to my room and how everything worked. Courteous service. Clean well maintained rooms. Good location. It was great value for money and bedroom was clean,peaceful and well maintained..staff was friendly and helpful.

Veey respectfull and cooperate staff...love the location as it is just few steps away from sea. Booked for a single en-suite for one night and was Upgraded to a Double at no extra cost. Very friendly needed to extend my stay wich was no problem for them. Friendly welcome. Helpful staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Proximity of the pavilion-in which we were going to. friendly staff, parking space, good value for money. Friendly guest house adequate for what we wanted. Very friendly welcome by staff member. Staff pleasant and friendly . Forgot my coat , owner phoned as I hadn't realised I'd left it , I then went back to pick it up the next day. Good value, close to train station. Price was very cheap. the owner was very polite and considerate. N/a. Nothing. It was bit disappointed to see the front view of guest house. .I think the Signboard should be changed..it should be clearly visible from both ends of the road. Shower could be a bit cleaner but it wasn't terrible, just the only thing I would improve. Shower could have worked better. Hot then cold constantly. thin walls. Decor needed updating looked very shabby . Tired décor, not particularly clean...and the patio door to my (ground floor) room was broken and could not be secured shut!. My budget room was barely separate from the neighbouring room. It was arranged in such a way that it felt as if I were sharing the room with a stranger because there was an interconnecting door through which I could hear the guest in the next room breathing. the dust on wardrobes and tv. the ensuite was for little people. very noisy with guests coming in late and talking and swearing.we also had to pay up front or i would have gone somewhere else even tho i booked it.even the stairs balistrade was sticky.i didnt know if breakfast was included altho they had a dining room set up for guests, wasnt told anything.
