Set in stunning grounds stretching over 5 acres, Swynford Hotel is an elegant 17th-century hotel with brasserie restaurant. It is ideal for exploring Newmarket and its famous horse racing. Silks Restaurant is a colonial-style brasserie that overlooks the paddocks and grazing horses. In summer, the conservatory opens onto the terrace. Brigadier's Bar is relaxed, comfortable and decorated with horse-racing memorabilia. Each elegantly designed bedroom has a private en suite bathroom and an individual style. Rooms range from standard and superior to deluxe and four- poster, and all have tea/coffee and free Wi-Fi. There is easy access to the M11 motorway, A14 and A11. Swynford Paddocks is just 15 minutes from Cambridge. Beneath the trees, the outdoor Pergola is ideal for al fresco dining for up to 12 people. In summer, the grounds can host events for up to 600 people.

Fantastic room, very helpful staff, excellent food. Our weekend around the area far exceeded our expectations, and the hotel was a major factor in that. Thank you!. All staff very polite and helpful. Superb, good choice of meals -excellently cooked and presented. Very clean linen. Good car park.The relaxed atmosphere within the hotel and freindliness of the staff. the food was very good and the large room too.
