Hotel accommodated my request for a quiet room by putting me in a peaceful canal-facing room at the end of a higher floor. Room was clean, fairly large, comfortable, well-designed, all the amenities you might need. 24/7 ironing room and food service if needed, also a decent quiet family pub next door.   We often stay at Ibis Budget in Birmingham, so getting this room for such a good price was a no brainer! The rooms, although basic, do exactly what they say on the tin! The beds are comfy and the shower's are always good. The lass on reception (sorry failed to get her name!) was brilliant! Friendly, helpful and very pleasant.
