  We were overwhelmed by the beauty of Astala Lodge along with the location. We stayed four nights and we're lucky to be given one of four front rooms overlooking Bangor Marina (room 11). We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and this feeling continued during our stay. It felt like we were staying with family, each morning s - Astala Guest House is clearly recently renovated. Everything is new. And everything is spotlessly clean. The view of the waterfront was quite nice (I saw a wonderful sunrise). Breakfast was quite good. The WiFi worked well. The staff was friendly and accommodated our late arrival without fuss (naturally we had the presence of mind to call and inform them we were arriving late). Parked right in front.
