  We had a room with an amazing see view. Apart from a few scuffs on walls and doors caused by careless guests the room was great. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. Will definitely stay again. - The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful when my mother became ill whilst we were staying there.   The hotel was beautiful, the setting lovely. There was a wedding taking place but we were warned. However, it would have been good if we could have eaten something at the hotel. Also the rooms were not too hot as in other hotels we have stayed in - The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.
