Excellent location for visiting Exeter city centre, with lovely friendly staff. just 5 minutes walk from either Exeter St Davids or Exeter central. We just had an overnight getaway from work and routine - visiting the Quay, which was beautiful for food and long stroll, the underground passages of Exeter city, the RAM Museum, had a lovely walk around the castle grounds and sat in the sun eating cream cakes outside the cathedral.
所有评语 » The room was comfortable and clean, and the en suite was very nice, the staff were friendly and the guest house in a good location for the city centre. We enjoyed a choice of breakfasts in the morning, overall a good stay, we would book again. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I am disabled but found that nothing was a problem. I will be staying there again if I have to go to Exetre. The staff and food were fabulous to and the decor is up to date and stylish. Two really great things about the room - a cafetiere with real ground coffee and washcloths in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming. It felt like a luxurious home from home. We would definitely recommend it to others. Good access to St Davids Station for my rail trips to steam railways. Nice, clean, good value and very kind and helpful staff. Both me and my lover enjoyed our long hard stayed. Nice breakfast included in the deal. Cleanliness. location. the room is ok nice design even with bath shared was no problems need some dezinfected wipes so everybody witch came could dezinfected..after and before. something like dettol..wich is knewn by everyone breakfast very good very various and cook well done ..the sheets very clean very good. I loved the location and the breakfast was just right. The room was most comfortable. The owner/manager was more than helpful when I experienced a problem. rooms are tidy and clean.nice comfy beds.good range of breakfast. Well-located, lovely furnished room. Breakfast. location. No real complaints other than it is not very sound proof, but this is to be expected from such an old building. The rooms are noisy, you can hear other guests and the parking was difficult. Too many noisy seagulls!!!. Didn't realize that there were 2 railway stations in Exeter, and we were arriving at the one quite a bit further away from the Bendene; 5-minute walk it was not. No en-suite bathroom. supermarket-grade croissants. Lots of slamming of doors and noisy upstairs guest. Not hotel problem but some better sound proofing would be helpful. Do's and donts signage stuck everywhere. well they sad that i can get net but the net wasn t cover the room area wich was bad because i had to work during that night and this was a little incovenience .. I did not like being on the 2nd floor and the fact that the kettle blew up with a frightening bang and fused the lights the shower and the shower light. To Noisy especially mornings and at night.doors banging.with people in and out.you get woken up 6.30 bye this.also there's no chest of draws.so most of my stuff stayed in a bag.plus you can here other customers in there rooms and here there t.v the bathroom was not cleaned wet floors after someone had a shower still wet in the afternoon.only clean floor towel put in there and checked the toilet rolls.sorry would not stay again :(. Very noisy - especially in the mornings. The walls are like cardboard and the sound of doors slamming with guests checking out from 7am guaranteed to disturb sleep. The staff were friendly but when I checked out the staff member was on the phone and dealt with me hurriedly and brusquely whilst continuing to hold the call - I prefer hotel staff to treat customer service as a priority!. Room. Bare bones offerings for the price category. No soya milk at breakfast so if you don't take dairy milk you're stuck. Staff were easily defensive when I mentioned noise in the room above and when I asked for a VAT receipt and wasn't sure I had received one. Lots of noise as it's an old house and the doorbell can be heard throughout the property so if people ring late at night or early in the morning it wakes you up. * Parking was available, no reservation needed..... Only 3 spaces for 18 rooms, so no parking!!! * Staff grumpy!!! * A 4 star accomodation, what a joke, this is a 2 star max. (Istay business wise at least 8-10 days a month in good hotels) * Overall very dis appointed!!!.
