Room was large, clean, very light with big windows, really nice!
We were made very welcome by all staff.
We took our large dog which was also really welcomed and she could go anywhere including the bar, other than the restaurant.

Loacation was perfect for Wast Water which we wanted to explore. Breathtaking scenery all around the hotel. Easy walking distance to local pubs. - The valentines 3 course meal was great and we went horse riding, the hotel staff were excellent at arranging this for us.

Friendly welcome and all staff we met were courteous and helpful at all times. The hotel location is fantastic with a short 10 minute walk into Grasmere. Friendly Staff helped enormously with my hectic schedules during my stay, very early starts and late returns also arranging for safe over-night parking of vehicle, they really couldn't have done more to meet my requirements.
The food was excellent, cooked to perfection, hot and presented well. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable, all this and at a very affordable price.
