  We were pleased that this was not a country pub with accommodation, it was better than that. While the downstairs decor was pubish the rooms were exceptionally well setup. A very casual relaxed quiet stay in a very quiet village. The staff try very hard to make the stay enjoyable, and they succeed. Great breakfasts and the meal menu is variable an... 别人怎么说 » d well cooked and presented. A very quaint place and an enjoyable stay. - We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. The staff couldn't have been friendlier; very accommodating! The breakfast was excellent; as it's a pub, it was wonderful to have a drink and meal in the evening - really enjoyed it!

  Staff very friendly and polite. The layout of the rooms is just amazing, they are not situated in just one building. They are all converted outbuildings i.e. The Granary, The Dairy, The Byre etc. Just amazing. I lived in Cornwall for 22 years, been to Lostwithiel many times but never been to the Golf and Country Club before.
