  The owners welcomed you from the start, the room was spotlessly clean, en-suite, Tv, tea, coffee, drinking chocolate & biscuits. Great atmosphere in bar with live music the night I was there, which was not over loud. Full English breakfast just right. All in all excellent for money. Lovely couple running the place and very easy to talk to. We went on a ghost hunt so didn't stay overnight but the couple let us in at 6am without any hassle which was very kind of them.

  We were pleased that this was not a country pub with accommodation, it was better than that. While the downstairs decor was pubish the rooms were exceptionally well setup. A very casual relaxed quiet stay in a very quiet village. The staff try very hard to make the stay enjoyable, and they succeed.
