  Clean, tidy, comfortable, and very close to sights in London. Hotel Lily was easily accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast room with plenty of staff to serve breakfast. I would definitely stay again. - Location is excellent. 2 minutes from West Brompton tube station, 5 minutes from Earl's Court tube station (Exhibition Centre is opposit side of the hotel) and 15 minutes from Fulham Broadway tube station (Chelsea FC 2 further minutes) by walk.   There is no lift at this hotel, and if you are carrying suitcases to the fourth floor, it is quite a climb. The hotel is a bit rundown, but if you need a place to stay that will not break the budget, this is it.   For the price of the room, it was clean, with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly, and the hotel's location is perfect, 2 min walk to Paddington tube station. I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or stay there again myself. But I like to sleep cheap, eat well and be in a good part of town. If you don't mind climbing stairs, this is a great place for those who don't want to spend a fortune on lodging in London! British Museum, one of the best in the world, is only 5 min away. Personnel very kind: we needed a British electric plug. Instead of buying one, we could use one from the hotel during our 5 day stay.   Single room to roadside was clean and tidy, enough space, shower and toilet nearby on the aisle, but for privat use only, was clean and ok, breakfast in the Pub downstairs was continental, a little bit simple but sufficent (coffe/tea, toast, ham, cheese, cereals, juice, fruits), staff friendly and polite. Wi-Fi was excellent. Table and chairs so you can eat in the room and not be on the bed which was nice. Also we had a sink, fridge, and stove etc in our room. Would've come in handy on a longer stay. Overall it proved a good option for us, as we have been to London several times before, maybe not the best for a first time visitor.
