  There is no lift at this hotel, and if you are carrying suitcases to the fourth floor, it is quite a climb. The hotel is a bit rundown, but if you need a place to stay that will not break the budget, this is it.   For the price of the room, it was clean, with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly, and the hotel's location is perfect, 2 min walk to Paddington tube station. I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or stay there again myself. But I like to sleep cheap, eat well and be in a good part of town. If you don't mind climbing stairs, this is a great place for those who don't want to spend a fortune on lodging in London!
