  The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived, they assisted in parking our car in the very small car park. The room although small was clean and the bathroom cleaner and of a higher standard than some bigger higher quality hotels. The breakfast had a good selection for a continental breakfast.   This hotel is so much better than the typical characterless hotels around these days. It is colourful, vibrant, interesting and run by people who are actually human, and love what they do. I would definitely stay there again. - The hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and fresh. The coffee bar in the lounge was a great idea. It provided a fantastic selection of fresh ground coffees and teas and provided the hotel with an area where guest could mingle. Whilst not right in the centre of London it is only 4/5 subway stops from Victoria and much better value than most of the hotels that are in the centre. It's in an excellent accessible location, about 10 mins walk from either Clapham Common or Clapham South. The beautiful Victorian building is well looked after and has a quirky yet clean feel to it.
