  It was genuinely nice place to be. The staff were lovely and the decor was simple but in very good taste (subjective). Food was excellent and reasonably priced and the breakfast was Superb. I know this can't be guaranteed, but the other guests were pleasant and interesting too. It was easy to find and you could park safely right outside the front ... 别人怎么说 » door. - rooms were beautifully prepared and inviting,plenty of tea,coffee and biscuits ,.staff very relaxed and friendly,nothing too much trouble and the food very good too,very pet friendly,intermingled with the locals in the bar in the evening,had a great but too short stay,would definately stay there again

  We stayed at The Farmhouse for 2 nights and can't rate it highly enough! The owners Jon and Marilyn are both friendly and welcoming (as are the dogs!) and they went above and beyond to ensure we wanted for nothing during our time with them. Neither of us had o2 mobile signal in the area but when our car broke down they were quick to lend us their ... 别人怎么说 » phone and standing by with jump leads! Since the car was out of commission for most of our stay Jon booked us a table at a lovely local restaurant (wa - We didn't meet the owners however the staff attending to us were very friendly and helpful. The room was well presented and very clean. The full english or should I say Scottish breakfast was very tasty and filling. Spectacular countryside setting. I would definitely visit again.
