  It was genuinely nice place to be. The staff were lovely and the decor was simple but in very good taste (subjective). Food was excellent and reasonably priced and the breakfast was Superb. I know this can't be guaranteed, but the other guests were pleasant and interesting too.   We stayed at The Farmhouse for 2 nights and can't rate it highly enough! The owners Jon and Marilyn are both friendly and welcoming (as are the dogs!) and they went above and beyond to ensure we wanted for nothing during our time with them. Since the car was out of commission for most of our stay Jon booked us a table at a lovely local restaurant (wa - We didn't meet the owners however the staff attending to us were very friendly and helpful. The room was well presented and very clean. The full english or should I say Scottish breakfast was very tasty and filling. Spectacular countryside setting. I would definitely visit again.
