It was a lovely comfortable and spacious apartment with unexpected little touches like towels, toiletries and tea &coffee making facilities. It was more like staying in a hotel with the freedom of self catering, although you could dine in the hotel across the road if you wished. Also great to be able to take my dog on holiday. size and layout of apartment (we stayed in Grange) was very good. The free spa option also good. I found the apartment to be fully equipped, yes the kettle is small but made four cups of tea so no need to winge! The location was great, nice pub which serves food just around the corner.
所有评语 » Standing close to the banks of Derwent Water this hotel is located in a lovely quiet location. Keswick is only a 20 minute walk away using a leisurely footpath. Well worth a visit if you are looking for peace & relaxation. Location excellent in a lovely. village. Lots of activites to do such as sailing, canoeing etc. Short walk into Keswick. Atmosphere quite but just as we like it. Brilliant. Breakfast in hotel great value for £5. Really good location just outside of Keswick but an easy 10 minute walk to the town. Beautiful lakeside location we had great views of Derwent water from the apartment. staff were excellent,fantastic location,spacious rooms,peaceful,fantastic spa. excellent location, short walk to pub and restaurant, well equipped. Amazing time at hotel. Two minutes walking distance from lake. good staff. The location was ideal parking was good quiet and peaceful lovely setting the grounds were well kept and very beautiful, with lovely views all the way around The private walk down to the marina The Manager was very helpful and informative. the phenomenal facilities eg the shops Very good view. location and facilities in the apartment. Close to the lake. Nothing. The double bed was very hard, as was the pillows, so if you like a soft pillow bring your own! Some people may like a hard bed so this is a preference thing. No Wifi in apartments - need sprucing up a bit - not really luxury. Door in need of repair. Would be happy to pay more as location and building fantastic. .Could not use spa as children over 16 allowed-not clear in brochure. 1 pub and food very poor. Wine and beers good. little bit overpriced,cobwebs that needed removing. shower head hanging off wall, bathroom extractor fan not working, kettle leaking at the base - general things which weren't maintained by housekeeping. service of internet. The accommodation was very small with very limited facilities. The bathroom was too small Only ideal for a last minute short break. TV remote control didn't work, asked for changes but no response. our reservation form included free wifi in our apartment. When we asked for it, we were flatly refused. No hot water in either of the 2 showers.
