  I really enjoyed my one night break here. When I arrived, all reception staff were occupied but my presence was acknowledged and I was checked in efficiently. My room was on the top floor, small but a nice size for a single and everything was clean. The room was hot, given the recent weather and it was a relief to see the fan already there - I def... 别人怎么说 » initely needed it. The pool area is not too glamorous but the pool is a very nice size for swimming and a good temperature. As were the steam and saun - I stayed here for business. The room was clean and tidy, nice little biscuits with tea/coffee etc. Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite. The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue. Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold. Yes there is housing around the hotel, but if you want so

  My daughter married at the hotel. The building itself is a lovely venue but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, plus the quality of the meal really help make it a very special occasion.
