We enjoyed a very large room with excellent bathroom. Breakfast was great and the owners were very helpful. They gave us directions to the beach and local eating spots which were within easy walking distance. We had only booked to be near ferry to Ireland but this spot could just as easily have been used for a beach holiday. Good B & B. Very friendly and ver helpful staff, excellent location, clean and comfortable. Didn't have breakfast as we had to be out ridiculously early but were offered the opportunity to have cereal and make ourselves tea and toast. Also they deducted something off the bill without being asked. The shower was excellent with entry of hot water.
所有评语 » We had a very friendly welcome and the room was spacious and very clean. Wi fi was readily available, and the breakfast was excellent. This was served in the conservatory with a good range of fresh fruit salad and yoghurts. In addition we were offered an excellent cooked breakfast. The WARMEST welcome, room FAR above what we expected so GREAT value, LOVELY view, EXTREMELY comfortable bed, owner VERY friendly and MORE THAN happy to help, DELICIOUS breakfast. We could not have been HAPPIER with our stay at THE GABLES and will MOST CERTAINLY be back.!. We loved the friendliness and warmness shown to us as a family of three enjoying a great holiday in UK. The area is serene and beautiful and the Gables is a short walk to the Inn and other restaurants for a lovely night out. Loved this place. We were there for just the one night. We were booked on the ferry to Ireland the next morning. The welcome was warm and efficient, everything was clean and bright and comfortable... The beds and the breakfast were good. The hosts couldnt have been more friendly and made us feel very welcome even though it was only a one night stay.The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast choice was excellent. Wish we were staying longer. We liked the location of The Gables. Our room was comfortable and clean. Patrick made us a delicious breakfast to order. He and Chris were very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat and places to visit. The staff was immensely friendly and informative. They made the stay perfect. The facilities were lovely and well located for a quick trip onto the beach and along the coast. Our hosts Chris and Patrick were very helpful and friendly This is by far one of the best Bed and breakfasts we have stayed at. We will certainly return. Highly recommended. I only arrived off the Ferry at 12.30am and arrived at Hotel at about 12.45am abd was on the road again at 8 am the following morning,.But I would use the Hotel again,. Stayed for 1 night, found staff very friendly and helpful. Nice clean room with comfortable bed and to top it off a fantastic full breakfast cooked to perfection!. The owners were very friendly, the room was spotless and the breakfast was cooked to order. Would definately recommend. Close to bay as well. Lovely B&B. Twin Room had beautyful comfy beds, Size of the room, Breakfast, Bathroom was funktional but not very fancy. Big and comfortable room. Plenty of Parking and nice scenery around. Quiet place.Nice breakfast, en suite, cosy room. Tv didn't work very well but to be fair I didn't mention it so I am sure they would have tried to sort it out. An extra towel rail would be convenient, so that towels could be dried. A small chair or stool would be useful in the bathroom. Nothing to dislike. There was no hair dryer. I learned later that they were removed from the rooms after people kept taking them. I could have gotten one from Patrick. I think there needs to be a sign in the room that tells you that. Nothing. Nothing not to like!!!!. Nothing. car park a bit on the small side , could do with a light for the drive &room was dark due to shrubs down side of hotel. No negatives for us. Nothing. There was nothing we didn't like. TV in room too small and not widescreen. Nothing to mention. sound insulation between rooms could be better but all B&B's guesthouses stayed at have this problem as they usually are not built to hotel standards. Nothing. All was fine. nothing to dislike. The cold weather - but no fault of Chris and Patrick!!!. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Guests above us was coming late and got up at an unearthly hour. We heard any footstep because of the wooden flooring!. The breakfast room floor was not clean and our shoes were sticking the floor while walking. Internet was not available throughout the hotel and the area was out of coverage of mobile network. Not value for money. Tiny T.V, lots of cobwebs in room and bathroom.
