Good value clean and basic rooms. Great communal lounge and kitchen areas. There was also a bike store where i could keep my bike and all the facilities you'd need for an outdoors based holiday. There was also an excellent relaxed bar on site (Paddler's Bar) which did really good food. I was a bit nervous going there on my own as a solo female but there were plenty of books/magazines there to hide behind until I got chatting to some of the other customers.
所有评语 » Really excellent value for money. We had a family room for 5 which consisted of two bunks and a single bed. En suite shower and toilet with plenty of hot water. Great cooked breakfast for £5 each. Excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from a lovely beach. Very friendly and helpful staff and generally a really nice atmosphere about the place. If you want comfortable accommodation at a good price, then I would give this serious consideration. Fabulous location, relaxing facilities, great food at the restaurant. We stopped off enroute from Dublin to London via ferry and train, and highly recommend Anglesey for other travelers in similar cirfcumstances. It is cheaper than most hotels in Holyhead, easy to get to (5 pounds each way by taxi) and offers a 10-15 minute walk to a wonderful beach along a truly stunning coastal walking trail. Definitely a worthwhile interlude in one's itinerary. I stayed here to meet my boyfriend on the 12:45am ferry and did some walking the next day. Penny went out of her way to make transportation easy and our stay as fun as possible. I left with a really great feeling about the place and the people who run it. Thanks so much! Our coastal walk was amazing!. A little ways away from the town center but close to a nice beach and trails along the coast. Simple, tidy facilities. Good for relaxing and taking in nature. Has a bar on the property with fair prices. Bartender was nice and made up for slow kitchen service. Location. Very quiet, in a lovely green area with a truly fantastic beach nearby (5-10 mins walk). Parking for motorcycle right under window. Friendly bar on-site with a lovely hostess & staff. Food was great too. Unbeatable price!. Beds without footboard! Being 6'4 have getting tired of sleeping with feet out of the side of bed at YHA hostels. Very nice room, bright and airy. Lounge and dining areas comfortable, spacious. What a great stay! Penny was accommodating, helpful, informative, interesting, generous, ... an endless list! Lovely location. Clean & comfy rooms. Great value. Just fantastic!. The room was clean and comfortable. Access to a self service kitchen and a great pub on the property. Great take!. Great value and good location - only a quick overnight stop, so I did not see much of the facilities. beautiful surroundings, animals around the building, friendly bar with good food and nice staff :). Warm and friendly welcome, good facilities for our overnight stay - food and bar available. I found the location quiet and comfortable, it met with my requirements. space in lounge area and tv room was great for children esp on yet day. Very friendly and quiet and in beautiful countryside. Very pleasant staff location. friendly check-in staff. It was the only accommodation we could get, so we feel under those circumstances we were lucky to have stayed there. The friendliness of the staff and the value for money. The room's soundproofing wasn't great. If you happen to have noisy neighbours or are a light sleeper earplugs might be a good idea. However as the place is in the countryside there's no traffic noise. Nothing bad to say really. We will definitely go back and would strongly recommend. Astonishingly slow service at the restaurant--we had to wait almost an hour for our food. Not always someone present at reception. Was told to go to the bar if I was hungry but it wasn't open. Bar didn't open until 5pm or after and then couldn't get food til 6pm and it didn't come til after 7pm. Nothing. Shower units need some work. We were sorry we couldn't stay longer!!. Found the bed very uncomfortable. a bit noisy in the evening(people going toilet just outside our room). nothing. Have to go outside and round building for drying room. Poor cooking utensils. Small shared kitchen, fridge space could have been better. Wait to was up after meals. Smell in room. mattress. Heating went off and shower was cold. The poor shower and the squeaky beds.
