Central hotel, very comtemporary and the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant staff were particularly professional and helpful. The bar food was good also. The hotel overall exceeded our expectations and we would definately stay there again. What more can you say when you give the hotel 11 out of 10 the hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The resturant served excellent food and wine with excellent friendly service.
所有评语 » Location. Room was spectacular! Huge picture window view of the castle from our 4th floor room. Nice divider doors between sleeping area and sitting area w/view. Very modern room. Convenient for Lyceum, excellent breakfast. Minimalist but very restful - someone has put a lot of thought into room decor and facilities. Highly recommended.Everything about the hotel and all staff contacted were extremely helpful, polite and professional while caring about their customers. The hotel was in easy walking distances for shops and bars and resturants making it an ideal place to stay. Excellent and very helpful staff, very comfortable accommodation, delicious dinner. A little slower to check in than we would have liked but this was due to the fact that it was the big rugby weekend and had been busy. Poor lighting in the bathroom - especially when shaving in front of the mirror.The hotel corridors should be made lighter as the colours are very dark also the bedroom doors should have a softer close so they are not slammed. the only thing was the shower, the water power is very high, quite soar on skin.Noise from passers-by late into night/morning. No on-site car-parking,but you are informed of this prior to booking.we had 7 rooms booked altogether and the only complaint the group had was about the decor. the corridors were very dark and the rooms were very comfortable but were also poorly lit with modern strip and spot lighting. The high rate.the room if anything was lacking a little more light at night but thats all. Maybe the bathroom could have used a bit of a re-vamp as it let the room down slightly.breakfast staff / operation. The food! Theres not a lot left to say on the subject really.A Huge letdown in our opinion.I think the room service meals are an absolute disgrace especially thesandwich. Concidering the hotel is supposed to have fantastic chef's a6year old could of made a better cheese sandwich! And you need to lookat the prices. That cheese sandwich my wife had would of been bad for anasda smart-price one! Oh and the price of breakfast went up £2overnight!. Breakfast should be included in cost of room. Strip Bars downstairs. The water pressure in the bathrooms was to strong.Shower was too powerful - like a jet wash! Breakfast was too pricey if it was not included in the room price, so we didn't bother with it. No temprature control in the bedroom. Auto control and ventilation was not good.Fair bit of general noise in the hotel, possibly poorly sound insulated as you could hear when anyone in the rooms by us used their shower or toilet.No opening windows or aircon made the room stuffy. the breakfast wasn't great and was expensive too. the breakfast could have more choice. Room, especially the bathroom needed a little updating. A parking problem that the hotel trys to solve with giving a discount at a near car park. But still expensive i feel. The hotel has an agreement with one of the cities car parks, allowing for a 20% discount in the park fare. This is a good thing, but the park is still very expensive.noisy at night from the two bars opposite. A lot of street noise (several strip bars in area so lots of stag parties). First room we were hgiven was not nice. To provide the cleanning of the room in the morning!. Did not like having to pay for my stay, in full, on arrival. Apart from a revenue making exercise, I see no reason at all as to whythe internet was not free (inline witht the majority of the hotels Istay at) in the bedrooms. ALso, lack of Aircon was a surprise.the bathroom shower didnt work and the towels werent replaced daily. It was going through a fairly major refurbishment, which I would have liked to know about. The unrefurbished showers were painfully powerful. It is also quite a stark and lonely feeling hotel.The shower was absolutely not up to standard...the water pressure was way too much and there was no way of controlling the same. The rooms tea and coffee making facilities where in the wardrobe, it took use a while to find them! the corridors are quite dark and could do with up dating. There was insufficient local information in the room so we were reliant on staff. The bathroom was a bit of a disappointment- the basin was cracked, the a tap was broken and the shampoo dispenser was empty. did not like bath room facilities in twin room. The parking situation. noisy.
