variety and choice of washing facilites - decor and the front reception stahh. The vibe!!. Located just outside the Edinburgh castle, very convenient place. It was surrounded by restaurant and shopping places. The staff there is very nice. not pre paid as thought - mixed rooms... The separate water taps.. I guess it was my mistake to book a hostel when I traveled with my old parents. The place is suitable for backpackers but not for family. The first night during our stay my mom found someone else's hair on her bed sheet. But the staff changed it when we made a complain on the next day. So that was good. The room we stayed in have a bunk bed (there are three of us), and the top bunk don't have a handrail or anything that can prevent people from falling down, which I thought is very dangerous.
