  I stayed at the Avon Causeway due to my lack of organisation and the designated hotel for a friends wedding was full. I'm glad it was. The staff were friendly, the room generously sized and with 'proper coffee' available. Unfortunately I did not sample the dinner menu due to rejoining the wedding party, but it looked fantastic. Recommend. - Had a wedding to attend in christchurch, so just looked for a reasonable priced place to stay. We were very impressed, it is the old Hurn Railway station and breakfast was served in the pullman carriage, it was lovely. Very clean comfortable pub, with lovely beer garden and very good food, wished we could have stayed longer.

  The hotel was very close to the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Sylvia on reception who went to a great deal of trouble to give me directions to the Catholic church. The breakfast and all meals are excellent value for money.   The welcome at reception unlike some four star hotels I have stayed in! This is nice to find when you are a mature lady travelling on your own to be made to feel welcome from the start. Also the fact that they did not realize I would be on my own and offered to change my ground floor room to an upstairs one if I wished to do so. - The staff were ... 别人怎么说 » very welcoming, and most kindly granted our request for a larger bed! The room was excellent and the bathroom facilities were immaculate. The breakfast was also of the same high standard. We will certainly stay at Christchurch East again.
