We had a great stay at Kilmorey Lodge. Great location for the town centre £3 odd in a taxi, but far enough away to enjoy a relaxing day if you wanted. There's a pub directly opposite that does great food too. All in all a great little place. Will definitely be returning to Kilmorey Lodge. The owners were nice and friendly made us feel very welcome, hotel is beautifully designed compared to the soulless travel lodges /premier inns. The cooked breakfast was very tasty and nice to know it was from a local farm and plenty of options of cereal to. Would recommend.

Thanks for the extra heater provided in the room!. Nice hosts and facilities were excellent - very comfortable bed. Best sleep I have had since arriving in uk. They very kindly allowed us to leave our vehicle in their car park while we explored the city after we checked out. I really like the homely style and decor of the rooms which are a nice change from the well known chains I usually stay in on business. The breakfast was also a great added bonus to the stay! Hope to stay again next year. Extraordinarily friendly and accomodating staff. Very convenient location. Excellent breakfast. Very nice rooms. Wifi even on the top floor. Had a lost item mailed to me by staff within 4 days of checking out. Great bed and breakfast. Within walking distance to town centre which was a real bonus. Clean room with everything we needed and staff helpful and friendly. Lovely friendly B&B, great breakfast and large room with four poster. Plenty to do in the vicinity. nice people, comfy rooms. The mattress was that comfy gave me the best sleep I have had in a long time. Couldn't fault the place. Loved the little extra touches that went above and beyond. our stay was very nice, staff friendly and helpful, it was near to the town centre,. very clean very good decor and equiped room and bathroom and friendly helpful staff. room was decorated very nice and food and service was great. excellent hotel, excellent hosts and great value for money. Modern decor in rooms. Room 5 good size comfortable nice en suite but could not put light on in bathroom as there weren't any blinds or curtains and this was at the front looking onto a main road. Probably not worth our £160 for 2 nights. We came for a night out in Chester (got in about 2am ish) which was great but we had to be out the room by 10am which meant a 9am start. Another hour or 2 would have been a lot better but that's just being a bit picky (and a bit lazy) I suppose. Nothing to dislike, a lovely B&B which I will return to and highly recommend. Only recommendation I may make would be to push check back to 11.00am. Top floor was a bit of a challenge for persons taller than 1,90m, but not much of a nuisance. Nothing. We loved the location but it is a 15 minute walk from the city centre, but there are nice pubs and restaurants nearby. There is nothing we disliked about our stay. only bad thing was the mattress was very springy and every time i moved i woke my wife. a bit noisy from traffic outside and distant from city centre (by walking). Average cooked breakfast Serve yourself tea and coffee at breakfast Not enough room in dining room. didn.t find staff particularly friendly or approachable. Restricted parking. My wife went for breakfast with our friends as I had taken ill. I only found out later than she wasn't even offered breakfast. The next morning we we were offered a full breakfast or a continental. My wife asked for continental only to then be told we don't have any cheese or meat. So why offer. Our friends room had a large black damp patch which the lady knew about but didn't inform them of. Not the worst place but not worth £150 for 2 nights. M.
