The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and tidy. Good car parking and the hotel was quiet. So we all slept well. The buffet breakfast covers all the bases, cereal, pastries, scrambled egg, sausage etc etc, but no bacon oddly. So don't expect a full English! I don't consider that a major problem tho!. Just a basic room but so comfy ,everything you need ,tv ,kettle ,lovely warm shower and a comfy bed .breakfast was great and the staff were lovely and everywhere was realy clean .the price was outstanding and I shall be staying again next year when we go to the Download festival ,brilliant thank you holiday inn x x.
所有评语 » All of the staff provide an excellent service, are friendly and very helpful. We were very late arriving, tired from our journey and were offered coffee or tea in the lounge, a very thoughtful and welcome gesture. On a whole the hotel was spotless the beds comfy the breakfast buffet perfect. What a great team. I stayed here with my mum as my son had a footy tournament at st George's park. Pleasant easy check in clean rooms and ideally situated for what we wanted. Free tea n coffee all day in reception, nice hot powerful shower and clean, couldn't fault it. Would definitely use again. The hotel was spotless if their was a fault not enough choices for evening meals, but on the other hand there was a pub over the road,so no problems.The staff were very good, infact we are booked into the hotel for 3 nights in 2 weeks time. Everything was perfect.. So much so that this was the third time I have stayed here.. It has everything I need & is extremely comfortable & clean.. Friendly, efficient, clean, comfortable, quiet and very good value. Breakfast is included at no additional charge and, thankfully, the car parking is free. It was exactly as I expected - no frills but very convenient and comfortable - very much like a Premier Inn. All staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed here for the weekend of the download festival which is was 20mins travel away, the hotel was good clean and had no problems. All staff extremely helpful, comfortable beds and pillow selection, breakfast was perfectly adequate, easy to find and quiet location. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was a blessing as we stayed during a very hot spell. Air conditioning very useful in the hot weather. Courteous staff. Clean reception areas. Plenty of parking. The Holiday Inn Express is very typical of this class of Budget Business hotels ... the room was clean and functional ... I was pleasantly surprised that there was a range of movies (though many dated, and none I felt like paying for) on a pay per view. The breakfast was good and included in the price. Room was clean and tidy. Easy to get to location. As previous review no bacon with breakfast bar, but other than that a good selection of food for breakfast. Free wi-fi, but.. Annoyingly intrusive tv (left on with a welcome message for the dubious benefit of newly arriving guests) which took some time to turn off as the remote was faulty. The cooked breakfast does not include bacon which seems unduly penny pinching. Breakfast was pretty basic - Premier Inns beat you hands down!. The noisy road nearby. nothing. The breakfast was quite basic but tasted ok. On a cold February evening there was quite a draught coming in the window, however, I asked for a heater and was given one immediately. Cooked breakfast rather basic. Scrambled eggs salty and overdone, would have prefered some bacon. Rather noisy on main road side. Nothing. Dinner was OK, but definitely nothing special. Location is out of town near bypass, which is good for travellers, but not for town centre. As a single traveller I feel I am at a disadvantage when it come to price. The lift was extremely slow!. Breakfast rather bland. Not a huge choice for breakfast but can't expect more for the price and it was all well presented and well cooked, so no complaints. Evening food wasn't so great & key cards didn't work at first. nothing. There was nothing to complain about. rooms could be a bit more insulated could hear next doors chats. The bed! it was like being on a trampoline, when one moved the other was woken by the bouncing. I did not sleep. We was in room 102 the noise from the traffic was bad.Did not get much sleep,told staff about this ,she said try the odd no rooms next time. The shower was dangerous very slippery. As a group we 100% disagreed with the No bacon for breakfast policy. The reason given that a poll was held to determine the most popular between bacon and Saugages, and saugages won is not credible. I can only assume that the poll was held amongst a non bacon eating community. Bit basic for the breakfast. Breakfast. Would like a full english option. Internet should be given for a lower daily rate or included in room cost. Nothing. Breakfast was awful. limited breakfast choice. reported soap dispenser over sink not working, window would not open or close correctly. nothing done about either which considering we were staying 2 nights was not very good. My Husband cut his toe on the shower frame and they was no first aid box. Wifi is annoying (hving to log in all the time). being charged twice. No bacon. And the internet should be free. Perhaps a little isolated, but you'll need a car to get there, so no great hardship. £6.50 per hour for internet is a huge rip-off --- I went without, but as such couldn't consider this hotel for anything more than a single night stay. Advertised free WiFi, but no information in room on how to log on to this. Plus the reception staff when I booked in did not volunteer this infomation. When you did try to log on a paypal system came up for payment. Desk was dusty near tea making facilities Prefer a firmer bed Prefer a more powerful shower. wi-fi continually dropped out. noise from the nearby road.
