Nice friendly meet and greet. we had our bags carried to our room which was nice. The owner made us some tea and brought it to our room also. The house has been lovingly restored keeping the original features,even the sash windows and shutters are still wooden. Breakfast was freshly cooked and hot. We would definitely recommend staying here to anybody.

  Gill and John were so warm and welcoming, we felt as if we were visiting a friends home. The full English breakfast they cooked for us each morning was fantastic! Our rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The location was ideal for walking into the shopping area of town and close surrounding areas.   The suite was everything the photos and description promised it to be. The location is incredible with all of Bowness shops, pubs and fantastic restaurants at your doorstep. Also the pier to where the boat trips to the other parts of Lake Windermere was only a few minutes walk away, this meant that a car was not required for our stay at all.
