I did like the price. The hotel is in a perfect location, you can walk anywherr from the beach to oceanarium or bournemouth baloon within 5-10 mintes, there is asda and subway nearby. So you can easly get the essencial bits and bobs that u have forgoten to take for your holiday, or pop in to subway for a quick sub. Thats all about location from me. Staff very friendly, we felt realy good there, breakfast was realy nice and in a good calm atmosphere, I did like the fact it was served between 8.3.
所有评语 » Every thing. Staff, comfort, location, cleanliness, fresh towels daily, in room tea/coffee making facilities topped up daily. Jorge was welcoming, friendly with good advice on where to go and how to get there. He prepared an early 7am breakfast and ordered a taxi for us on the morning of our departure as we had to catch an early train to London. Overall a very pleasent vacation and if we return to Bourne mouth we will definatly stay in the Shirley again. Jorge and his family were very welcoming and the hotel had a very friendly atmosphere throughout. A lovely cooked breakfast was served daily and there were plenty of options available. The location of the hotel is excellent with the beach a 3 min walk at the end of the road and the town centre is a 5 min stroll away. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby, but not close enough to cause and disturbance. Excellent friendly staff, fantastic value for a short break and had everything we could want. It had carparking albeit down a very narrow lane (breathe in). Lovely breakfast. We stayed due to going to the BIC for a show and it is in a fantastic location for both this and the town centre. Location to the beach & town center within walking distance,clean facilities, food good, shower excellent, and generally a lovely ambiance. Made to feel very welcome by the owner(Jorge) & his wife. Would certainly recommend to friends & family. Everything was so clean and sparkling. Breakfast was really good. The hotlier was good, we turned up late and it was no bother to him. Good wi-fi. I would go back to this hotel anytime. The Shirley Hotel is great for all ages and Jorge is a very funny and well liked host, i would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Lovely hotel, wonderful owners and friendly this is the second time that we stayed on this Hotel. Highly recommended will stay again. The breakfast was nice & the hotel was very clean. It was situated within easy walking distance of the centre. Room was nice, breakfast and service was good. New shower was fantastic and brilliant shower head of all things. Made wecome from friendly owners, and all our needs were catered for without question. Full English breakfast very tasty, room clean every day, staff and host very friendly. friendly owner, moved us when my husband could not do the stairs. spotlessly clean. friendly owner excerlent breakfast comfortable bed and close to sea front. Creaky door. en-suite space was a little cramped. Lack of parking space. Pillows could have been a bit softer. Shower went a bit cold when showering. The only thing we didn't like was about Bournemouth its self we didn't realise the place was so hilly, we travelled with my husbands elderly parents and so had to get alot of taxi's!! lol. The family room was a double room with 2 single beds added so there was hardly any room to walk around & only a very small wardrobe for storage. The bathroom was extremely small & cramped & felt quite claustrophobic when the door was shut. bed was a little hard. Could have done with more clothes storage draws. Bathroom was too small and so it was difficult to use the toilet. Tea caddy kept running out of coffee,sugar etc. A bit cramped in the shower room. central heating was not on in evening. limited parking. No dislikes. Limited parking. Bit of a walk to the town centre. Parking was limited. No frills!. Limited car parking. room very hot,bathroom on the small side. I paid more money for the same room via bookings.com! I thought it was cheaper. Poor food, tired decor. Very rude staff, breakfast only lasts from 8 - 9 am. We were awaken by the manager shouting at the staff right next to our door.
