  I had to visit Birmingham recently and booked Gables Nest at very short notice. The price was excellent, the room was spotless, the breakfast was top notch, easy access to the city and most of all, the welcome from the owner, Mal was so friendly. Views over the city centre were brilliant. Great location too - not far from anything. Brilliant weekend and our home for the weekend could not have been better!

It felt like staying in a hotel run by a family rather t - I took my mum to a concert at the nia as a birthday treat. The hotel was only 10 min walk from the nia, with plenty of restaurants to eat at around Brindley Place. The Bullring was within easy walking distance. Beds were so comfy and room was very clean. Breakfast was lovely with excellent choice! Will definitely be staying again and would recommend to friends and family.

The bed was very comfortable (firm, which we like) and we had a peaceful nights sleep, in fact we didn't hear anything at all. Shower was really hot and powerful. Definitely stay again.
