the gentleman who showed me to my room was really friendly and nice i liked how he showed me the dinning room and said that i could help my self to a cup of tea and could help you self any time to breakfast i will be staying again also the room was very clean in all i could say its was friendly and clean and a lovely staff. The price. The room was everything we needed for a quick over night stay. The room was really warm and cosy when we arrived. The breakfast is a good bonus too!.

Nice and clean, staff was very serviceminded and helpful. Very good value for our money... Very friendly staff, rooms were clean & warm, cheap & cheerful. The quiet nature, accessibility t o pub , shops and buses . Also wifi. neat environment with easy access to bus stops and all amenities. Staff excellent and very helpful nothing is to much trouble. Value for money, self service breakfast, helpful proprietor. Male member of staff was very pleasant, room very clean. The location is good for me, good staff. price friendly staff location quietish. Friendly and helpful welcome. the Charde B&B is a nice place you get what you paid for rooms are nice breakfast is help yourself what i liked is you were left alone. its not far from the city or airport buses are very regular but would advise you to buy bus ticket as you dont get change when you pay cash. the manager come cleaner come cook is a nice person if your not happy he will happily help you out. altogether i stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it. cheap. friendly. value for money. Nice local indian restaurant. quiet. basic but worth the money. Short taxi trip from Birmingham Airport and N.E.C. Basic facilities, adequate for a short stay. cheap ,close to NEC , ensuite shower , breakfast available 24 hours. very quite and plenty room to park my car & trailer!. personal - friendly and very reasonable. Good value for little money. Wifi. Help yourself breakfast early morning, free parking. Keys to help yourself In and out. Cheap and nasty in every sense. Only thing going for it was the one and only member of staff was friendly. It was close to local food take aways. The bed was nice and comfortable. Friendly staff. not a lot. price. parking was good otherwise there was absolutely nothing to like. Man on reception pleasant and helpful. Very little, shocking place to stay. Le prix...the price. Nothing to like. nothing at all. nothing. Nothing. nothing. One side of the bed had collapsed springs which was a little uncomfortable. No bedside lamp, reserve by credit card but have to pay cash only on arrival, heat sensor alarm sited above toaster in dining area-sensitive! no mirror above wash basin. Some aircraft noise ,but by no means disturbing. The TV set was too high and the type an old product The breakfast is controlled and was mess up. there was no water to make cup of tea. No cloth available to wipe up spilt tea fro m my clumsy tea making skills in the morning. Small room, could have had a better clean, tiny television. Birmingham itself is not a nice place to visit, did not enjoy our time in the city, traveled as 2 females and felt very unsafe in the city. Put sky tv in the dining room for those dat love football games. There is no chair and table sets in the garden for relaxation. Smokey smell in room. Smell of smoke, rooms need a few air fresheners around. The room is poor, the carpet is very old. sheets/ duvet not ironed gave impression of being unclean however it was very clean and comfortable. Nothing. The room smelt of cigarettes/smoke. non smoking room reaked of smoke. Located in a highly populated housing area. No Restaurants or Pubs within walking distance. breakfast just toast and jam etc. still waiting for email/invoice for my four day stay from last Saturday to Wednesday 4th. only received scrap of paper to confirm my payment for my stay - need invoice for my accounts!. molded corner at shower room, pillows at bed - without 100% looks like clean, or changed or washed... Hard bed Dirty mirror Bring your own shower soaps etc. Probably the dirtiest outdated place I've ever stayed in. The bed sheets smelt and looked 40 years old. Hall way carpet was originally green I think, but couldn't tell for that much black trodden Dirt into it over the decades. Wood chip on the walls. And I don't even think my bedding had been washed prior to my stay. Horrible place. Dirty. Unironed bed linen. Shower was filthy as were the black mouldy windows and skirting boards. Breakfast you had to make yourself only if wise like most people you would only make a cup of tea and a bit of toast. There was a toilet to shere with the outer guests. The curtains where just nets. The beds where in need if replacement. I would only stay there again because its better than nothing. Room number one had water come threw on to the guest as he was sleeping. So stay here at your own risk. No toilet roll and no soap. There wasn't a mattress cover on the lumpy mattress...made me feel sick knowing I only had a thin sheet between me & hundreds of strangers body fluids...disgusting.i was promised something to wrap a sandwich in because I left so early in the morning...this was not done!. small room, tiny en-suite, whole place needs upgrading!!!!. dirty. Filthy room, dirty used bedding, sticky carpet, mould in bathroom mould in bedroom, tiny room. Hand rail to stairs hanging off wall. Sickly smell permeating the whole hotel. No one about at all. 1. Cleanliness - carpets, bedding, toilet, shower area, dining area 2. Breakfast - very poor choice and quality 3. No soap in room 4. No bedside table 5. Quality - very poor quality bedding, furmishing and decoration. Not clean at all Awful room wanted a twin got switched to a double Horrible staff Breakfast was terrible Feel scammed Shower was diabolical. Tout le reste...everything else! They gave me a single room, no soap, no towel, no glass or mug,no coffee. And then ceiling was leaking water! They gave me another room, not much better. Very dirty rooms. Toilet in corridor was absolutely filthy and disgusting, and there was a big in it! I would not stay there again even if I were paid 1 million. Just DON'T stay there. You will be better without. everything. ants in the jam,. Dirty small room don't think bedding was clean smelt sweaty shower cold.The cereal containers lids dirty Booked 2 days but cancelled the 2 day [still paid ] no wonder no photos for this place. Booked Castle Bromwich inn for £10 extra it was worth it look at their photos wow. one word "dump" first thing that hits you is the stale smell of smoke, carpets very dirty, hand rail going up stairs coming off the wall window latches in room broken ,shower had black in the grout, brown god knows what it was around the bottom of the shower bedding had some sort of marks on them,know one was at reception when we needed them rang bell no answer,i never had the breakfast but it was very minimal, would I stay here again NOT a chance AVOID!. It was a dump and falsely advertised. Sgower from room above leaked into my room via a light fitting. No offer of a refund. The two females felt scared due to the location. The hotel owner wasn't at the hotel on arrival for check in. There was a note on the door to ring him. We waited nearly an hour for him to come back from shopping. There was one thin, brown sheet on the bed, no bottom sheet and the mattress was covered in stains. The room was dirty and hadn't been cleaned for some time. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room smelt musty and damp. The furniture was broken, one chair only had 3 legs. The bedding was clean but that was the only positive of the whole place. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
