Together with my wife and 3.5yo daughter, we took a four-day family trip to Istanbul. Our hotel name was Burckin, and almost all taxi drivers we ran into during our trip did not know how to get there. Though the hotel is located literally within a five minute walk from the Blue Mosque, in the very heart of the Old City – Sultanahmet. But I believe those taxi drivers should have done their homework far better. Located in the historic center of the Old City, Burckin is a six-floor hotel with a ro.
所有评语 » Excellent location at the heart of Istanbul main attractions. Great view of Hagia Sophie, Blue Mosque & Bhosphorus sea from the Roof. 2 mins. Walk to Tram station,Basilica Cistern and 5 mins walk to Hagia Sophie, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace & Gulhane Park. Great Decoration, lighting inside the hotel. Cleaning was superb and rooms are also new. Excellent & professional Staff, very friendly, helpful, smiley & Co-operative. Breakfast on the Roof was excellent with a g. Location is perfect. A tram stop is just a few min walk away. It takes less than 10 min by tram to get to the ferry station near Galata bridge. You can walk everythere as well. We walked to Suleimanie mosque for example. Breakfast was good, we had fresh grapes and apples, vegetables, eggs, lots of bread and cheese. More thab enough. The view from the breakfast terrace was the main reason I chose this hotel and it was amazing. Better than on the pictures. You can see Aya Sofya and Bosphorus and . Had an amazing four day stay. I absolutlely love how close it is to the Hagia Sophia. We're talking a 5 minute walk people. Once you step into the main entrance it kinda of gives you a wow feeling. It's truly authentic and has a very Ottomen feel to it, with the Turkish rugs all over the place. The beds are soft, bathrooms truly luxoruius and aircon/ heating superb. One more thing, the view from the skybar is. Amazing!!!!!!!! Will definitly stay here again!. I really liked the hotel, The location was great and the room was cleaned quickly and no personal items were misplaced. The front desk is manned 24 hours a day if you need something. I also enjoyed the view on the terrace for breakfast every morning. Breathtaking!! I would stay here again. And also don't forget to thank Mr. Ilhan Yunus and Mr. Abdul Salam for everything and loves to serve the customers in all their needs. The hotel was perfectly sited in the old city to allow walking access to all the important buildings. The roof top breakfast restaurant gave a delightful view over the Blue Mosque and the AnyaSofia. The room was clean and comfortable and perfectly adequate and the breakfast was good and substanial. We loved the location as from the roof top restaurant the view is amazing. The staff was lovely. However when ordered something different staff gave different rates so we didn't buy it. And there was some water problem in our room which wasn't resolved nor were we given a different room. Breakfast is terrific...especially the wonderful Turkish cheeses. Stunning view over the Blue Mosque, etc and across the Bosporus.Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very close to tramway between Cemberlitas and Sultanahmet stations. Free wireless internet into rooms. Location was excellent, roof terrace was outstanding with stunning views. Breakfast was plentiful and all staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy with lovely fresh towels every day. Great decoration and rooms very new and clean. The Location is perfect as it offers only few minutes walking to several landmarks. The Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia and Bosphorus can be seen from the restaurant, the staff is friendly and helpful. Only complaints, would be that the rooms are a tad small. For one person (such as myself) its perfect but for two, not as sure. But at least the beds are huge! Also the tap water as a noticeable amount of chlorine added to it. Don't drink! Every now and again, you will hear at night, ethnic chanting from a Mosque I believe. Still an amazing place!. The breakfast coffee was dreadful. The rooms are small...but perfectly adequate. Room was a bit on the small side but given the limited time we spent in it (other than sleeping) it was adequate. Breakfast very simple and too basic. My bed was just next to the window and was noisy at the night. The room space is too small. No room to swing a cat or store cloths - was there for a week - most cloths kept in cases under the bed. Had very tiny terrace with high wall so very little light in room. breakfast could be improved with fresh fruit. A good coffee and fresh fruitjuice should be included in the breakfast, you must pay extra if you want a good coffee and fresh fruitjuice. I think this is a must for a 4 star hotel. Limonade and nescafe were on the buffet (for free) but were of bad quality. Breakfast buffet was ok but no refill for items so if you go late you will end up eating bread & jam. Hotel enterance is not suitable for baby stroller as there are stairs once you enter, so u will have to carry it down for 10 steps but not a big deal anyway. Bed, room, tv & bathroom are very small, breakfast is not that much and under the sun lights. Their taxi like other drivers in Istanbul are driven crazy and aggressively!. It was a pity not being able to have breakfast on the terrace. The breakfast area used as back-up was a bit crowded. Breakfast has one or two delicious things but it should have more options, like fresh fruit and some quality juices for example. The strong traffic on the hotel street. The breakfast has many dishes, but many ones are sweet. In the picture in Booking the terrace is open, but really it's closed. Breakfast is not continental, but rather turkish like. You have to pay everything in the minibar and it's rather expensive. The rooms were on the dark side, and the floor boards in our room were raised and made very difficult to close the main door. Staff members were friendly but lacked efficiency. They didn't order the airport shuttle on time and that almost cost me my flight. Overall I was expecting more for what I paid. size of rooms. limited chairs and food while serving breakfast. The breakfast could be better. It is somehow poor. Cash payment for transfer, top restaurant closed, check-in (not correct rooms). Door locks. We needed to try our pass card for about 5 times to open the door of the room. Everything was ok. The lobby, while decorated nicely, was so dark, it was not welcoming. We never sat down for even one minute because it felt like a dungeon. rooms ending in 7 get the noise of the lift shaft but the hotel moved us when we asked kettle in room would be good. no live breakfast. No tea making facilities in room, small room. The room was very small. No place ( free table ) in breakfast. We have to change our first room due to an awful smell (sewer?). The room was too small.about 6m2.... nothing. Nope.
