I had a wonderful time at the Kaya Hotel. It's centrally located in the old quarter, making it extremely convenient to walk to nearby restaurants or attractions. The staff was amazing, welcoming, and extremely helpful. I was impressed with the hotel! The rooms were updated, clean, big and affordable. Great for the price. I would come back here. Excellent value at Euro 45 for a triple room which actually had 5 beds. Unlimited tea and coffee in dinning room., Helpful staff (limited English) good wifi.Great area near bazaar and caravanserai with restaurants and tea shops. Great city for kebabs and Lokantsi food.
所有评语 » Helpfulness and response time of the staff, always cheerful and ready to serve even if language is a challenge. But with wifi & Google Translate, language barrier is no longer an issue as it was 20 years ago when I backpacked through the country. Extremely polite staff, helpful in organising my stay in Diyarbakir (laundry, local travels, money exchange etc.). Rooms were very clean and comfortable, especially for this price. Good breakfast. Nice budget hotel. The rooms are small, but comfortable for a night or two. Serve very nice breakfast and could not fault the staff who were extremely welcoming. excellent value for money, very friendly staff, perfect location, good breakfast, clean and spacious room. I definitely recommend to stay at Kaya Hotel. The friendliness of owners and staff, the central location, the cleanliness, the breakfast restaurant/ café with unlimited tea, coffee, melons etc. Although we checked out at noon, they kindly let us leave our luggage in the room until evening. Thanks!. This is a good, unpretentious, comfortable hotel. There are no frills, but everything works. Staff very friendly, good value of money. They try to help you whenever you need. Difficult to park in street, and need to pay local parking charge.. No chairs or desk in room to use for computer. You hear noises made by other guests in the night a bit. Absence of room fridge. The shower was next to the toilet and was wet a lot. Bathroom cramped, no shower curtain so everything got a little wet. The staff was not very smily, although minimaly helpful when requested to. The bathroom, but as always in eastern Turkey, there is no separate space for the shower, which is generally almost always over the wc :-). Room a bit small, but OK. Only Turkishe spoken. Room was small wıth no place to hang even a jacket. Can only communicate in Turkish and Kurdish. Rooms are very sparse.
