The location; the staff was helpful when it came to parking the car; they also gave us a choice of rooms - one facing a busy road and another facing the back of the hotel. And the air conditioning was working, which is essential in the summer there. Very nice staff, clean rooms, great breakfast in a hall on the top floor, great location in a fascinating town. The shower is only separated by a shower curtain from the rest of the bathroom (which is small already); but it is not a major issue.
