  What a beautiful resort! The pool is great, book a pool access room and you will be able to jump in the pool from your room. Gorgeous grounds and lovely pool, the tide was out at the beach so would have been a far walk to get to the water.   We stayed here for just a night so we can't really comment much on the facilities - we were enroute to Phi Phi Island, but we absolutely loved the stay. Patong Beach is a 5 min walk. Bangla Street is right outside and the nightlife is almost at your doorstep but don't worry, Novotel is very quiet; you'll sleep like a baby.   We loved the swimming pools and pool bar. Also there is a lot of palms and other greenery around and it is very tropical looking.   We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of our honeymoon in Thailand. the location was perfect as a short five minute taxi ride from Phuket airport.
